Something change for me this episode for sure. I cruised to plat 1 with like a 67% WR and the majority of games were pleasant. Since the reset I am at like 35% WR and have had some of the worst trolls/throwers. I usually don't mind because they were so rare but its rough to now

Honestly, it's best to just mute them and move on. After a while, they stop providing any useful comms anyway. Most of the time, they're probably just having a bad day, and while their behavior isn't great, this might be how they cope. So, instead of engaging, focus on keeping your own spirits and your team's high. Who knows, you might still turn things around and win. Good luck with the grind, everyone!

Also never talk shit on your bottom frag, everyone bottom frags sometimes it’s the best player/highest peak rank and they just aren’t able to play off their teammates because they’re ass (I’m ascendant and have bottom fragged PLENTY of times when smurfing in bronze because it’s impossible to play with the team, and I use my teammates as a crutch to carry)

"throwing" as it's commonly used in multiplayer FPS games is not subjective. it needs intent to be defined. it's like a strike in fighting. someone striking an opponent isn't subjective, it's an action with intent behind it. a lot of people do misread the signs of throwing, but that does not make its meaning in this context subjective.

It just keeps getting worse.. What I don't get is how people are actually incapable of knowing they make mistakes as well and focus on improving that. Even when I'm tilted, when I entry with neon, yes, maybe sometimes I get mad that they didn't help by the initiator using their util, but it doesn't help to blame them. I just think about what I could've done better like throw my stun into a more common angle, using my wall to seperate gunfights etc. So to any duelists reading this: You are not perfect. Don't blame the team when you run onto a site of four people alone. Maybe call out some util you want your team to use to help you. But most importantly, admit your mistakes man, this is how you get hardstuck.

I'm glad to say that no one on Val has ever been able to out-word me. They using they mic and I'm typing in team chat? They still lose. They on they keyboard? They still lose. They screaming into the mic to "drown me out"? Guess what? I'm typing, and they can't help but read it to sate their need for a fight- So they *STILL* lose. I remember a game where there was an obvious new guy to the game playing Chamber and our Renya was just going off- Started flaming the new guy. So, I started typing and taking the heat off the Chamber (Eventually, they left Chamber alone which was my whole goal. I hope the person playing Chamber is doing well). I asked Renya if he wanted better teammates (This is a trap). He said, "Yes. Leave." I simply replied, "Or you can get better MMR. Or what? Too hard for you?" ("Rank [Enter toxic player rank/level here] and still got my level of mmr" is a good comeback too. You don't explicitly state that they are wrong [if you do they get more mad] and at the same time, you're calling them bad [But most people that force me to say that aren't smart enough to understand that]) That's not all about Renya though! There was a good 30 seconds of silence. So, I typed in, "You writing an essay or grabbing more snacks?" Guess who submitted their essay immediately after I sent that message? It's honestly embarrassing how easy it is to read them type of players. Read 'em like a book and played 'em like a fiddle. I didn't even read their message because I was too busy laughing at the irony of it all. They are banned now. To my knowledge they still are for dropping a hard R during the finishing moments of the game. Might just be lucky or most of the toxic Val community is actually really weak and are actually scared of confrontation... But I'm glad I use my toxic powers for good and saving the newbies rather than evil and becoming like those who can't face their parents with integrity and pride...

@@TheBeauSimon yea but in valo there is no such thing as support. You can pretend there is by making silly terms but there just isnt. This isnt league, overwatch or dota. Supports hang back and assists the team, but in valorant every player is crucial in assisting the team as a whole in order to win and hanging back isnt really viable other than when playing ct side. There isnt designated roles in valorant like in your typical moba or class based game. There is a reason why nobody uses terms like support in this game, in pro play or ranked.

As a League player for over 10 years, I can with certanty say that the best thing for you to do is to just insta mute them. Dont give them any attention. If they go AFK or troll they would have done so anyway, but the chance of them actuelly doing that reduces by alot if you dont interact with them. In league a player who is actevly trolling will 9/10 times eventuelly get bored if you ignore him.

As a bronze who started a few months ago, ever since i started playing ranked, at least once every 3 games theres an afk in one or the other team, while ppl are mostly nice in this rank, they just give up after 5 lost rounds and start scrolling tiktok or just straight up go AFK, like if u are queueing comp, then how about PLAYING THE GAME. like there must be a reason they are hardstuck iron but they are just too stupid to understand.
