Love the video and enjoy your personality keep up the good work man!! Thanks for all you do and the great advice as always :) Might seem weird but I’d really like and appreciate if you can give advice on the iMac M1 VS a M1 MacBook Pro currently debating which to replace my 7 yr old laptop with for work obviously as the debate might suggest portability isn’t that huge for me personally

@@andrewbaird753 Thank you so much, Andrew! And as for your conundrum - if portability isn't a thing, 100% get the iMac.

How's the lateral stability on it? Most Flexispot reviews are of the models below yours like the E5 and show a lot of it.

Hi Mark. I am seriously considering getting the new iMac or the new Mac Mini M1, I have always wanted an iMac I love all the colours and the touch id on the Magic keyboard is an added bonus. I would love to see a video comparing the two machines, the pros and cons, the adjustments of the screen (does it give you neck ache), speed, noise etc. I currently have a late 2014 Mac Mini and I'm using it with a 6 month old 25" Dell QHD, IPS, 60 Hz monitor which has inputs on the back which I could make use of when the Mi Mac Mini is plugged into via USB-C rather than HDMI. I also have the magic keyboard, trackpad and mouse, the only thing I don't have is a decent webcam or microphone, but I just love the look of the iMac but the Mac Mini is the most sensible thing to go for!! Would be really helpful if Apple brought out a separate Magic Keyboard with touch id. Thanks. PS. I thought the new desk and set up was very interesting.

Thanks, Susan! I've already made a video comparing the two, but will definitely be digging into this more over the coming weeks/months!

Pity that i have way too much stuff for a standing desk to be an option for me I suppose the only real option would be to have two desks, and run a long USB cable from the KVM Switch to the standing desk, and a long HDMI cable from the AV Receiver to the standing desk (computers connect into the KVM switch, kvm switch connects into av receiver, av reciever connects to the monitors on both desks) Only problem is i wouldn’t be able to operate the KVM Switch from the keyboard on the standing desk

Hello bro, I have been a windows user for very long time and tired of the update window, pc problem. So, planned to change to mac air M1, my usage is light but sometimes I use 3d software like Etabs, staadpro, AutoCAD software. Most of which will work on windows platform, so I have planned to use either parallels os or bootcamp use the software for results when ever I needed it. So my question is, is it better to go with 16 gb ram or 8 gb is fine and also suggest me the memory storage option too bro. Or should I wait for nxt gen mac air

Literally every review of Flexispot on KZbin starts with "They sent me this desk for free but this is an unbiased review". I wonder does anybody actually pay for these desks or perhaps you just need to setup a KZbin channel! 😄
@MarkEllisReviews3 жыл бұрын
Did it help you during your research? That’s why I make these videos, mate.
@bt823 жыл бұрын
@@MarkEllisReviews I'm not sure, all the reviews where the desk was sent for free sing its praises and the only independent reviews talk about poor quality and wobble etc. The trouble is there's nowhere to try these out so you have to just take the plunge.
@ScentedWithLee2 жыл бұрын
@@bt82 what I’ve found is that the ones that praise them have higher priced models than those that complain about wobble etc. I’ve spent hours researching these desks and the E7 like this one seem to have square legs whereas the cheaper ones have rectangular legs which in my opinion really are likely to wobble more. I’m about to order the E7 tomorrow after watching this review so fingers crossed 🤞
@bt822 жыл бұрын
@@ScentedWithLee I bought the e7 legs and had a solid oak top made up separately. Overall I’m pretty pleased and there is no wobble, the desk is pretty stable even when raised. There was one quality issue during assembly, one of the welds cracked and came apart while tightening the bolts. Luckily it wasn’t anywhere critical or weight bearing and it hasn’t affected the desk. I think the desk is a good compromise for the price and I wouldn’t want to spend more.
@ScentedWithLee2 жыл бұрын
@@bt82 That’s good to know. I’ve not seen anything overly critical of the E7 👍
