@@KevinHamilton-c3u Yep. If you can build a proper rig on the cheap, it will outshine those who spent thousands on 4-link tube chassis rigs. Notice how Ian "TV Show Garage" kept breaking down? Biggest ego of the group with the most unreliable rig in the group.

Such a badass trail. Why did Ian even go if he was just going to take the bypass for everything? Every video of this 24 hell and back he seems to skip any obstacle he can. Then seems to have a crappy know it all attitude. Seems like a wasted spot that could have been given to someone who would actually wheel. He's well out of his element going against the other drivers and rigs.
@jcar1417
@jcar1417 9 ай бұрын
Agreed I’ve watched him on tv and you tube and have enjoyed his builds and he always seemed like a pretty happy go lucky guy, but this has definitely changed my thoughts on him, for the guy with arguably the most resources and probably biggest bank role his attitude sucked.

kinda a bummer to see him just sit there even when it came to fixing his own stuff, all the others are helping each other and participating as a team and I just get that he's got a too good for that attitude from this video, like seems like he just wants to sit in his "comfy chair" I feel like there's a lot of other guys who would have been stoked to have the opportunity to do this and actually try some of the obstacles

Not that I’m here to defend him, but I’m sure Ian has the most ridiculous schedule out of all of them combined, so he’s probably just cruising through this on auto pilot. Maybe he should start sitting some of these invites out, but what are you supposed to do when you get called out? Is it better to not show up and then everyone starts in on the lip service about him not showing up? The price you pay for being that guy, I guess.

Hell yes. It’s must watch for off roaders. I can’t believe (as I watch) there’s only 53k views yet MORR and Casey ladelle get so many. That is not - I REPEAT NOT - a knock on Matt’s off road or others. It’s just a nod to how fucking cool this run is. Again I’ll say we need the 24 episode version. I don’t know how hard the editing is but I think it would rip. As the peck kid says “that would be a dean!”

it's because of all the filming, if they were just driving it and helping each other they could have probably done it in at least half of the time!! I give these guys credit it's gotta be kinda tough to drive 30 or 40 feet, and then know it's gonna be another 3 hours before you do it again. props to them all, I think thats what's probably the hardest part is the staying awake while waiting to drive again. but I get it, it's to give a good video. kinda enjoy the day parts better myself hard to really see what's happening fully and see the terrain and lines they're taking. still really enjoy these videos watched the last couple of years this one's been my favorite one yet, based off who's here and the trail. But that one they did in New Hampshire was also a top favorite of mine being I'm from the northeast myself and that's the terrain I'm used to

one positive thing about this series is how nobody really cares about their ego when it comes to the pink helmet. when you have people performing dangerous and difficult tasks, making decisions with an ego simply compounds risk in addition to that, unless high-performing people and equipment have been selected, removing adequate rest and light is a recipe for disaster cultural task treatment is super important with this stuff, Marvin got it right with this group and their gear
