I bought 2- 100ft. I have had mine a month. Mine are hard to put on hose holder, they want to roll up like snakes twisting and I am fighting them. Am I doing something wrong? Yours is doing the same thing. DID YOU KEEP IT???? What is your recommendation? You never said. I am switching to NEVERKINK.

Hi, When pressure washing with a (4400 psi @ 4.0 gpm) with a 20" surface cleaner. Would it better to use a 3/4" garden hose or is 5/8" good enough?

3/4" hose flows more water than a 5/8" hose will. It also depends on your run of your hose. A longer hose cannot flow as much as a shorter hose. 4gpm is a pretty big pressure washer. Example a standard house has 40psi of water pressure. A 100ft 1/2" hose will provide 6gpm. A 100ft 5/8" hose will provide 11gpm. A 100ft 3/4" hose will provide 18gpm. However, a 25ft 1/2" hose will provide 24gpm... so depends on how long your hose is or how much water you want. You'll need a bigger diameter the longer your hose to have the same flow. Edit: sounds like you're going to be doing work with your hose. You might want contractor quality to provide the durability as you're going to be dragging the hoses around and/or leaving them in the sun for long periods of time.

@@Vultrux I have a flow rate of 8 gpm from my tap at the house. I have a Gardena 100' hose that's 1/2" diameter and at the end of that hose.... it only puts out 4 gpm. I mention this because I also bought a 4 gpm 4,000 psi pressure washer and the flow rate was insufficient for that pressure washer. I am going to buy a shorter (25foot) 5/8" diameter hose to use for my pressure washer.

Hi. To answer your question more directly: yes, a 5/8 inch garden hose (standard size) will work very well for a machine with those specs. Obviously, the flow rate from the water source must exceed the gpm rate of the machine. I routinely use a similar machine for residential house washing and surface cleaning. I connect up to 100 ft. of 5/8 garden hose (which happens to be Flexzilla) and very rarely have any issues. Hope that helps and good luck to all who read this!

Dude the 3200 PSI only happens AFTER the water enters the power washer. Thie garden hose isn't an issue

@@DTB3378 They are ratted to 500 PSI but I've gotten close to 700 before breaking. However funny you ask because they do actually make a High pressure hose as well. But not rated as high up to 3,100 PSI. So your better off sticking to a high rated one over this I think.

If you're using this hose for a pressure washer, your first mistake is not getting 3/4 or 1/2 over the 5/8. You are cutting your water pressure quite a bit.

The biggest problem with this hose is it whips around spraying everything it’s to flexible! You can’t even stick it in a drain to go shut it off it comes flying out! So I recommend using a nozzle on it as otherwise you can’t put it down without it taking off!

This hose is average, just average, or maybe slightly above average. It kinks and tangles like any other hose, not a bad hose though. Light, decent feel, and good fittings. Just not that great and I would argue “false advertising” just because the claims are so exaggerated and clearly stated.

A 5/8 hose delivers 5-10 GPM. A high end 4400 PSI Pressure washer uses 4 GPM. Confused why a 3/4 is even remotely necessary for any application in pressure washing.
