My obsession over the past year has been many of the Scandinavian shows and limited series. Not all, as I’m not big into comedy types, but the crime dramas and supernatural stuff have been excellent. I am totally good with subtitles, as I keep them on even when I’m watching a show in English- I watch most movies and shows in my bedroom, and during the summer, the A/C and the fan make it hard to always hear all of the dialogue. That, and I’ve always enjoyed listening to other languages. Anyone looking for suggestions on which shows to check out, I’ll list my favorites below: Equinox The Chestnut Man The Valhalla Murders Bordertown (3 seasons)* Deadwind (3 seasons) Entrapped The Lørenskog Disappearance Borderliner Katla The Day Will Come Occupied (3 seasons) * this show also has a conclusion movie, called Bordertown: Mural Murders

@@venom7774 Happy to help! I’ve watched a few on Amazon Prime, but they irk me because so many of the ones that I think look like something I’d really enjoy end up not actually being included on Amazon at all, but these other services that they are partnered with. I’m not going to subscribe to a fifth streaming service just to watch 3 shows, but Amazon advertises them as if they were the ones carrying them. I looked through Hulu and they didn’t seem to have anything that appealed to me, but Tubi is fantastic. I haven’t looked through their catalog of Scandi stuff yet, but thanks for letting me know that they carry some. I usually spend about a week straight watching nothing but Tubi when I start, because their selection is immense, and I’m just trying to catch up 😆 Thanks again, and have a great week!

Gunther's Millions is well made, but the story made me feel a bit queasy. A dog inheriting that much money?.. I could predict the end by the end of 2nd episode. SMMFH. You is back!? Awesome. Normally not my cup of tea nor my husband's, but the two of us got wrapped in the story with a quickness. I agree, Netflix has top quality true crime series.

OK - I'm an old cynic but the only movies I go back to a second (or third) time are a few Tarantino and vintage classics like Vanishing Point, with the odd sci-fi movie thrown in. Right now I'm into series from a variety of cable networks - 1923, East New York, The Last Of Us and The Peripheral - but what I'm really obsessing over is season 2 of Halo, and we may have to wait until 2024 for that. I'd forgotten just how good the season finale was from season 1 - went back and watched it again and was blown away. Anyone who is put off by the fact that The Last Of Us and Halo are based on video games really needs to give them both a chance imo. Thanks for the video.

I think that a lot of what Netflix claims to be their Top Ten is not based on the number of people that actually sit through an entire movie or series. Much like the game that Amazon tried playing with their Rings of Power debacle, they go with the number of initial clicks that are based more on the viewer's curiosity than anything else. Millions of people like to see if a film or series is actually as bad as they've been told, and once they realize that this is indeed the case, they bail. But Netflix will nevertheless chalk them up in the "Win" column.

Like, are you confused because both the vampires and the lycans are the product of two brothers, and because of that, shouldn’t be trying to destroy each other?
