yeah he is not as shy and nervous like back in Raid 1, he seems comfortable to talk in english. His english has improved so much, I also noticed Yayan ( the guy who played Mad Dog) in the other video, started to speak little english, still very little, but its a start :)

Seriously man. I was just discussing this with my father. Finally a fusion of martial arts, great story and fantastic cinematography. It's movies like Berandal that prove martial arts films can be great cinema too. Fans and newcomers to this genre want more from martial arts movies, and Berandal is literally the best fusions of cinema and action I've ever seen.

Iko Uwais, a truck driver who has pencak silat ability. He become pencak silat athlete and now as an actor. Iko is one Indonesian famous actor from Betawi, native in Jakarta, capitol city of Indonesia. In real life, Iko is a humble man. He still remember his many friends as a truck driver. As Indonesian, I am very proud of Iko. In Mile 22 his characters name is Li Noor. It's from Ali Noor. Noor or Nur is a word from Arabic, means light. Ali Noor or Ali Nur (with written Noor Ali or Nur Ali), is a common name of Betawi man.

Alot of famous martial arts actors have been known to learn English and practice speaking it, for instance, Jackie Chan, when he first came to Hollywood he had no knowledge in English at all. And also Jet Li, Sammo Hung, Tony Jaa, etc. Iko has been practicing English for a while now, and has made decent progress, but as of today he is still average. But he still understands English more than he can speak it though, this aspect is pretty common with many people.

did not know what to expect of raid berandal my mate recommended it, i watched it, rewatched it and watched it again thats 3 times right and then i found out about the raid redemption watched that, just as good, watched it twice and now ive found theres a raid 3 coming up, i jizzed my pants, this stuff is better than half the action american movies youll see, best martial arts film ever, if you havnt watched it stop what you are doing and just watch it. Do that now, theres really no need to thank me afterwards

Bright guy who obviously has worked hard on something other than martial arts. With luck, as his English improves he can break into an American market and really become a world martial arts icon. Gak jelek2 amat lah Inggrisnya Iko. Terhitung lumayan buat orang yg tidak biasa berbahasa Inggris. Jangan dibandingin sama Arifin atau Julie yg bokapnya bule dan dari kecil udh ngomong Inggris. Secara yg ane tau, lidah orang Indonesia itu lebih fleksibel dan diuntungkan dgn sistem konsonan aktif utk menggunakan bahasa lain.
