-Best callback definitely when Luci and Chloe are in the hell loop, in the 80' bit Luci mentions "Menliner really what were they thinking". You know in the firs season Luci had eyeliner -Also the last scene in the last episode was the same as the ending of the first episode, from the door to the red light. -In the first episode when Lucy drives to the magician show, some scenes are from the first episode. -Int he "book episode" When they read Lindas notes Lucy has a desk, probably because God made fun of him not having one

I also noticed a parallel between family therapy session scene from s5 and s6. Plus it was impossible not to notice "Bones" references to s3. Love how his daughter's choice in shows was the same. And it's actually great that they invited that old actress from that show. Plus I noticed a lot of references and hints to s1 and some to s2. Love how they repeated the beginning scene of pilot with the same officer in ep1. Plus in ep2 at the beginning Amenadiel said "Your return to Heaven has been requested", which is an actual callback to the pilot. Also another callback was from Luci "How is it hanging, big guy" - a hint to s1 ep2. And in ep3 I found a callback to s2 ep13. When Luci and Chloe were in Hell, from one of the loop doors we can hear a melody of "Killing me softly", what Uriel played in Luci's loop in s2 ep13. That scene with Rory's devil face while she was protecting her father in ep10 actually parallelized a scene from s5 ep11 when Luci was protecting his Dad. And when in episode 5 after Chloe's and Lucifer fighting he said "I certainly did not see that coming", this is a callback to s2 ep5 when Uriel said the same

There were a few events which seemed to be nods to earlier seasons (especially the first episode and season one), but my favorite is one I can't take credit for; someone had pointed out the street Lucifer was last seen on in Rory's explanation (10th and Swanson) as being a little easter egg: That the final episode of "Lucifer" is episode 10, and the final act before the ending of a performance is often referred to as a "swansong". So it basically means that "the series Lucifer ends at the tenth (episode)". Really wish I had spotted this, but again, I don't take credit for that one as some awesome folks on the Reddit were the ones who realized it.

It wasn't from season 6, but I noticed that when Trixie met lucifer and asked him his name, she said "Like the devil?" And when she met Amenadiel in the hospital, he told her his name and that he was asked by Lucifer to watch over her mom and she says "Like a guardian angel?" Trixie not really getting a proper ending was a big disappointment, though the Easter eggs are cool and who knows, maybe spin off's might happen.

"Helo Detective." "I thought you could use a partner." ....... Ok, most of us are unhappy about them being separated for decades for the rest of Chloe's mortal life. But somehow I got to this psycho girl-level 😂, that if Chloe can't have him, then no one can. It's better to see him alone in Hell doing something he believes is right than living in earth, physically together with Chloe, but always in doubts, denial & problematic like in previous seasons (I don't like most of Season 4 because of this). At the end, they are reunited for good! 😁

Yes, you & I can agree to disagree about being happy/unhappy w Lucifer being stuck for millennia in hell bc apparently you are (or at least you didn’t mention) forgetting that not only does Lucifer miss out on Rorys childhood (which he can never get back) & living w his truLove w whom he spends most of six seasons saying he never, ever wishes to be parted from, & AFTER merely being parted for a month on earth (thousands & thousands of years in hell) Lucifer & Chloe are practically ready for a meltdown, they are so unhappy being parted BUT ALSO Lucifer will now miss out on Charlie’s childhood as well (which he can never get back), he will disappear from Trixie’s life just after she suffered the loss of her father, so that now Trixie loses the only other strong male influence in her life from the age of seven; he will miss out on his earthly friends lives, and basically, he ALONE, will be the only person from the entire cast of Lucifer that doesn’t have a supportive group of friends or relatives around him while he lives out yet another purgatory of time. Lucifer, instead will have his chosen mortals to try and rehabilitate, Mazes relatives without souls, & the humans who died and went to hell for various bad reasons and are stuck in hell loops til the end of time. Or until Lucifer rehabilitates them during his millennia alone. We know from Charlotte Richards presence in Heaven that one can lead a relatively bad life (I.e., letting a slew of scummy, murderous individuals free to torment again and again due to her work at her firm) and then talk thru the “bad things” she did for a few months and ultimately end up in Heaven (perhaps adding in her selfless leap to save Amenidiel’s life). Thus, most of the individuals down in hell are pretty rotten human souls. And that’s who Lucifer spends a millennia of time with while everyone else has support from close friends and family. It certainly makes for a joyous reunion when Chloe finally arrives, but Lucifer basically lives thru TWO purgatories as a result of Rorys insistence that everything remain as is and nothing be done differently.

I read somewhere the writer mentioned about the possibility of Lucifer watching over them from afar without messing with the time loop (which would cause more problems, e.g. messed up chains of events, etc, I guess. What's important was not to change how Rory would have become). That separation really sucks, but I gotta see it from different perspectives (e.g. my comment above) and focus on the ending (their reunion), otherwise I would be stuck in Lucifer hell loop & not be able to move on (in the past week, instead of working, I was busy checking all Lucifer S6 edits) 😂😂

@@annec1534 Admittedly, while busy in RL, I’ve spent a remarkable amount of time discussing season 6 and/or the finale of Lucifer (I guess when I would normally be sleeping) but my biggest problem w the season/finale is that I (personally) unlike Rory, do not believe that Lucifer could/would ONLY discover his life’s calling thru the events that occur as a result of Rorys time travel. Most especially bc it’s his ultimate professional field, I feel that any number of conversations could arise involving Linda, Chloe, (both) Amenigod, etc wherein at least dif elements of the changes that Lucifer has gone thru from season 1 to now (“when I first met you…”) & his shift in priorities (this would likely arise in a convo w Linda) along w a reminder of how satisfying it was for Mr SaidOut Bitch to have arrived in Heaven - the very first to have done so - and all thru a discussion w Lucifer and ultimately, instead of “changing nothing”, Lucifer could come upon this revelation in NUMEROUS ways, allowing him to be a part of Rory, Charlie, and Trixie’s childhoods/teen years, could live at least part time w his truLove instead of being parted in one of the most heartbreaking scenes since Casablanca, and continue to be a part of his friends & families lives instead of (possibly) seeing it from afar. Unlike all references to time travel from Marvel (which I have seen) or other time travel shows (which I have not), the writers did not tangle up. a series of events that had to happen just so in order for (say) a.battle to save the universe work out and retain half the population of earth. All they did was proffer the concept of Lucifer figuring out just what he should do w his life, (and, again, you may agree to disagree) but I simp,y do not believe that Lucifer’s realization of his life’s purpose requires Rory to travel back in time. But at all. Of course, that was about half of season 6, but I would happily have exchanged that to have found out, for example, WTF happened later in life for Trixie, whom the writers practically dropped from existence & without explanation, did not have her at her mothers deathbed, even tho she would have been relatively young at the time. They didn’t even give some stupid one sentence explanation as to why Trixie wasn’t there, which I (and I discovered millions of other fans) found infuriating. Having spent six seasons growing up w Trixie, I was simply more involved w the ultimate resolution of her life story than her younger sister’s, whom I found to be (JMPO) selfish & bratty in a remarkably childish fashion. Yes, similar to Lucifer’s personality, but I had six seasons to grow to love and care about Lucifer. And Rory didn’t have her fathers charisma to offset the bad w the good (again, IMO). The audience would have required a separate explanation as to how Dan finally had his important convo w Trixie that allowed him to ascend to Heaven. And, finally, I would have loved to have squelched Linda’s book regarding Lucifer since it was the ultimate betrayal of doctor/patient confidentiality and completely against a therapists professional ethics. What an appalling storyline to give Linda for season 6. It didn’t even matter what Lucifer’s response to the book was bc LINDA DIDNT ASK HIM IF IT WAS OK PRIOR TO WRITING IT. Have much to do today, altho one would t know that from this comment, but just wished to try and make you understand WHY I didn’t think much of the Rory storyline. There’s more but I’ll be damned (ha!) if this gets even longer by explaining it. Really, truly, we’ll need to agree to disagree (and possibly if you have access to Lucifer s6 edits, perhaps you can point the way..). Thanks in advance!! 🧐😂❤️‍🔥😇😈😘🥰🥰

the ending was perfect.. if lucifer stay, chloe would get old meanwhile he will stay the same, imagine how chloe would felt about that? Plus several other reasons why it did not have much sense to stay. @@angellestat2730 Well, admittedly, I was much more focused on how Lucifer would be missing on Chloe’s pregnancy, Rorys birth, both Rory and Charlie’s childhoods (first everything, really) + Trixie’s teen years, esp’ly right after she lost her dad. I wasn’t thinking ahead say 20, 30, 40 years into the future wherein Chloe has aged but Lucifer remains the same. I’d like to think I’d still find that sweet and lovely, but I saw Captain America with his sweetheart from way back when and found it quite disconcerting, to say the least, so perhaps I’m an ageist. I mean, my aunt and uncle had 20 years difference in their ages but had a happy marriage for 51 years (when he passed away). After 20 years, tho, I kind of think people are stretching things, bc they don’t have as much in common. Lucifer and Chloe WOULD however, so I’m just having trouble with the optics. Ageist, like I said. But it would ultimately be their decision, and assuming they are doing that part time work deal, they are basically growing up together, so while from the outside it may look strange, to them, it would seem like life as usual. I’m assuming, of course. IDK how Chloe would feel. Maybe she’d start to feel really self-conscious when she’s in her 50s, 60s and Lucifer hasn’t changed at all. But then again, she would have to balance her “self consciousness “ with the idea of not seeing Lucifer and it’s likely that she’d prefer to still have Lucifer around, no matter how weird she feels about getting old while he does not. Of course, if it was me, it would be different bc I’ve found bdays to be horrifying since the age of 22, and I may very well prefer to be lonely for decades and then be reunited with my love while looking young and pretty, rather than grow old and decrepit while he remains young and virile. ☺️😂😈😇

OMG so I was not crazy when I thought that creepy gas station guy somewhat looked like Patrick Swayze! Another reference to Ghost is the nice way they transition from showing Dan-in-LeMec's-body talking to Trixie, to just Dan, much like the iconic scene from Ghost where we see the two protagonists sharing a romantic dance rather than Demi Moore and Woopi Goldberg.

Guess it be the entire SE 6 Specialty 10 which although was the hardest watch has one hell of an ending for me. And guess seeing what this list is... Few nice trivia bits are off the top of my head... * Lucifer and Chloe share similar injuries from the beginning carried over to the last one... That Lucifer is on the upper right leg. And Chloe is on the left shoulder. *the mysterious "secret ear whispering" torture scene/idea used between Uriel and lucifer. Was again done in reverse between lucifer and Vincent La Mec which both caused very negative self-destructive after effects....that oddly involved bladed objects of the celestial nature ( Azrael blade and dagger made of Rory wing weather. * That what Det. Dan's line in the pilot foreshadows something that happens later......"I don't know whether to laugh or to shoot you." Where he did sort of laugh at Naked and Afraid ep. and later shot Luci "our mojo" *Linda file for Lucifers is # 015666 * That the Van Nuys location has been mention on 2 occasions one being S1E6 as the location of Dan stakeout which would have made him miss the taco Tuesday date with Trixie and Chloe. And then on S6E5 as the location, Rory gave to answer Chloe question about clues...regarding her last recollection Lucifer Disappearance.

Word balloon interview with showrunners answers this. The wanted for that particular event to symbolize “engagement” but that they moved it because 1) it didn’t fit her finger 2) it’s the finger that Lucifer wears it on 3) their relationship transcends marriage.

Writers said it was too distracting to have older Trixie, older Charlie, etc in that scene as they would all be new actors. They said Chloe asked everyone to give her a moment alone with Rory (Chloe knew she was going to time travel) so the others were just in another room.

A moment you have a traumatised nephilim girl who can't accept her mother's eath and her father absence, and the very next moment a more mature rory who grasp her mother sacrifice.
