In every interview I've ever seen with Kristian Alfonso, I've always found her to be extremely warm, likable and well spoken. She has aged very well, but I'm most impressed with her personality.

I'm still sad my favorite supercouple will be no more after this month. I came to terms with years ago Peter was ready to leave but now the wounds are now being reopened. I'm sure the scene between Bo and Hope will be some emotional and raw stuff, there is so much history, how could it not be. When he calls "fancy face" for the final time the tissue is going to be so wet with tears. Thanks Kristian for the classy interview.

I watched Days in high school and college, back in '83 when many of the more iconic characters were introduced to Days. Heard that Peter was coming back and just surprised that he came back and then almost as quickly as he appeared, his character was killed off. What is really unfortunate is that Bo & Hope became iconic characters on the show and in many ways, they ARE Days. It is unfortunate that what is happening in Peter's life with his real family has effected his character on the show and the series itself, and I think that the series has suffered for it. Because of these long absences, you have to double talk your way around with the storyline, and about the only way I see a way out of it is to either kill off his character as they did or to give him shorter scenes and 1/2 day workdays. Supposedly, Bo was killed off because Peter wanted to spend more time with his family and his daughter because she is 8 years old, so I doubt that you will not see much of him, other than maybe token appearances for about 10 more years. I think it is possible to have a career and a family, as Kristian has certainly been able to balance both, but if you create such an important character to the show, then it seems like there should be a certain amount of loyalty there. It certainly seems like there could be some sort of compromise, no? There are some actors who create such memorable characters that they become synonymous with them. Bo and Hope are two, and eventually, possibly the matriarchal and patriarchal successors eventually. Also, I don't really see iconic characters being created among the younger generation, so I think the series has relied on its mainstays. Most of them are now in their 60's, 70's and 80's even. Not that they are not important, but it is equally as important to create interesting characters with the younger cast members. There was not as many of the younger cast in the 80's as there is now. Yet it is possible to have lots of young but sort of bland..? More does not necessarily mean better, just more of them. I think they need to compromise and stop killing off or having extended times away, with these two characters, which are critical to the show. There is bound to be a way to find a balance between real life and the show..?

I was obsessed with Days when I was in grade school because I got sucked into the Salem Stalker storyline, and I was obsessed with the show up until I went into high school and I kind of slacked off of it. But I liked a soap called Passions that came on after Days more.

Yah, time to get through those stages of grief for Bope!I've accepted it&ready to move on.PR doesn't seem connected or enthusiastic about DOOL.Hes ready to do other things&Im happy for him. KA wants to be there& she is a great actress, so her character should continue being developed.Hope needs to move on!!

+Tiffany Jackson It's funny that Hope did move on, BUT the guy she married is about to kill her. Now, Hope is going to have to start all over again to find Mister right, since Bo is going to be killed off. I've notice Rafe has been having some feelings for Hope lately, maybe he will be the next man in Hope's life.

+Elizabeth Mooney Im not opposed to Rafe and Hope if it's well written and not rushed(like it has been since Bo's death) . I'll always be a card carrying Bo and Hope fan but I'm over people thinking Hope shouldn't be with someone if it isn't Bo. Bo's memory won't be erased by diehard fans of the Bope like myself. But Hope has to have a romantic pairing somewhere down the line. This is soap opera, romance in the afternoon she can't just not be single.

Elizabeth Mooney Ugh Dennifer... please.. Im trying to forget that pairing even happened. They did better just bringing back Frankie for Jenn if Jack wasnt in the cards. But yes Hope needs therapy first before she gets with any leading man. She's been a bit craze craze lately. Ive always been about the belief that the heroine should heal and do some soul searching before she gets with another possible love interest. She has to grief for the love of her life and I wouldn't mind seeing those scenes play out like Marlena had those scenes back in the 80s when Samantha was murdered and Real Roman basically told her she needed to go to therapy before they could marry. I miss the old Days

Krisrian has always seemed to have an underlying dislike for Peter Reckell. Some of the comments she has made makes me think that she found him overbearing to work with. they never let it show during their scene's but I could be wrong. They have know each other since 1983 I think she knows way more about his faults than we do. She seems to be a very charming and elegant lady.
