I've been watching a lot of series. Maybe this has greatly influenced me. But if warcraft had come out as a series they could have explained a lot more. The movie felt rushed. There's even a seen where they are fighting the guardian. It cuts away to another scene and eventually comes back. When they come back, the main characters are hiding away. Trying to explain what happened next. How did they get there. It's like they cut part of the movie out.

Well for one, I am a massive Warcraft (Classic) fan and had waited for the film release for 4 years, so seeing the it in the big screen was surreal almost~ Also the first time I watched it (which was just before I posted the above comment), it was on a "premium large format cinema" in 3D, the film was absolutely stunning~ Seeing the characters etc. come to life was indescribably enjoyable. The 2nd time I watched it, however, was in regular mode in a not-so-big cinema, I'd give it a 7.5/10 as oppose to my first experience which was a 9.5 ^__^;

This movie was 100% entertaining, I loved it so much I saw it twice. Loved Khadgar and Durotan, the spellcasting looked amazing, the actors and storyline were great, and the battles were engaging. As far as fantasy film goes, this one is top notch. I'm so sad it's getting largely ignored here in US based solely on critics and media... everyone I know who has actually seen it liked it, whether they play the game or not. I would gladly see more of stuff like this.

I played Warcraft 2 when I was a kid once. I do not know nothing about it. I loved the movie and understood it quite well. I have to say thought. Those shots of the Orc villages did hit my nostalgia. I always kept a clear image in my mind of the game.

I havent played Wow Since 2012 But I have being waiting for this movie since the first time I saw Blizzards CGI capability back on Warcraft and Warcraft II I have being wating for this movie for 20 years.... AND IT ROCKED!!!!! I could have watched 5 hours in one sitting and be in love with Blizzard did.... THank You Blizzard!!! I like it better than LOTR's. Maybe because I've read Tolkien deeply and did not know anything about WC going in, dunno. But I liked the style of this more than PJ's style. WC reminded me of beautiful early Technicolor films and classic book illustration. PJ moves the camera too much and he added/deleted things that left me cold. WC really worked for me -- saw it 5 times!

I've seen the film twice and really loved it. The first time I was really nervous and surprised of what's gonna be in the next scene... literally not even blinking to not miss anything. :D But for the second time I liked it even more. I already knew what's gonna happen but the overall experience was better. Too sad that it wasn't much successful in the US. :/ However, I'm still hoping they will do a sequel. In Warcraft universe there is sooo much to say. :)

Honestly, I remember feeling pretty let down, when I watched it in cinema. But after rewatching it today, I really came to appreciate many of the aspects that the film, in my opinion, does get right, albeit it does have its flaws as well. I do however believe, that the single worst mistake with this movie is the lacking commitment of the film studio. As with The Lord of the Rings, the studio should have greenlit three movies from the start. Now I am not saying this would have changed this movie entirely, but you can clearly see how this movie tries to both settle on a possible ending, while sequel baiting, all because there weren't planned more movies from the start, again lacking dedication from the company. Now the first Lord of the Rings movie is of course amazing in many ways, but it also had the benefits of us knowing when we watched it, that the second and third movie would come out the following years, meaning we knew that the first movie's job is to set the story and the characters up, while obviously also being a solid movie on its own :-)
