My Mom's brother was lost on the Flier. I proudly display his medals.

I recently discovered medals in my family home that I inherited. My grandmother was married to Eugene Wilson Heller...lost on the USS Flier also. Even my dad and uncle didn't know she had been married before their father...until after she passed. She never spoke of it. I'm trying to locate his family to give them his medals...no luck. I'm setting up an Honor Wall in my home (the family home), we are a rather big military family. If I can't locate them...he will be added as well. I have a picture of him from On Eternal Patrol. Wish me luck folks!!
