At the end of World War 2, there were a number of German Generals who were executed for war crimes. One of those was Fritz Neidholdt, who was the ruthless commander of the Devils Division. His soldiers conducted raids against Partisan forces and were known for their terror and brutality against their enemy. But Neidholdt was sentenced to death and he was executed by a firing squad.
