Hey Lochie, two questions if you've the time: (1) those hand shears look to be very handy and looking online just now I can see price range of $100 - $400. I've got little mob of dorpers some of whom don't shed so well. Hair that remains very thick and matted. Any tips/advice on which shears to get? (2) how goes your little jersey cow?

Got our first girl with fly strike for the year. This humidity is terrible. But not doing it with hand shears again. Already gone and bought some cordless shears like yours. cant complain about the moisture though. Will be great for a late summer feed.

Maybe a bit of Duct tape works perfectly. Cant see thru it or maybe Gorilla tape or aluminum tape works. Its like wire to a farmer to secure a lose gate. Works great.😋
