Out of my interview group, i was the only one who dressed like a flight attendant. I found the perfect dress but it was $150... i still bought it.. taped the tags inside the dress, made sure not to move my arms too much. Got the job and then returned the dress 😳 times were rough, ok?! Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do

Stella, you're very much a genuinely good soul. Your tips make sense coming from someone who is genuine like you. Having gone to a F2F with a major airline a few years back (got the job), there were people who technically followed this advice. They looked the part, they smiled a lot, they were social, etc. I enjoyed talking with MANY people (and was surprised so many didn't get the job), but I noticed for some, it didn't seem genuine! That is absolutely key! I admit, I did NOT smile until my face hurt. That would be unnatural for me. I'm naturally a happy, positive person, but I'm also a good listener, engaging, and genuinely like being around people. I think it's important to know that recruiters can kind of see right through it. They're going to be looking for professionalism, appropriateness, and genuineness. If you have full plane with hundreds of angry passengers due to delays and whatnot, smiling forcefully in their faces isn't practical and can even be condescending. Demonstrating that you can pick up on social cues, have cultural awareness, listening/empathy skills, and professionalism are all things that seem to consistently be left out of these interview tip videos. Positivity and being sociable/bright is a must, but I feel like so many people misinterpret those points or even fake it! That being said, love you and wish more could be like you! ;)

Red lip color looks great on you ! I traveled via British airways to London out of Charolette NC and the attendants were not very friendly . The plane was big and comfortable but it was a evening flight and the longest flight I’d ever taken at that time . I could not hardly go to sleep . I guess it was excitement first time in the UK . But the crew was not the friendly bunch at all ! 😃 I love your hair !

I just want to say on the phone topic - I personally had mine with me on silent but at the end of our group interview we were told those of us who had been selected to the next round would be called within the next half an hour. If I hadn't answered that call I wouldn't have gotten my offer! That's just my experience though :)
@stalstonestacy43165 жыл бұрын
That's my thought as well. Nothing can happen accidentally if your phone is turned completely off and you can resist the impulse to check it before you are told to. Also, no phone on the plane at all? I'm not so sure, howwould you vlog, communicate with your family and managers during reserve, standbys and layovers? Probably Stella meant that you can't use your phones on the plane because I've seen in her vlogs that she does travel with hers

What do you do when a passenger is terrified to fly? I have huge anxieties bc I haven't flown since before 9/11. Lost family and friends that day. My cousin was in the first tower. My friends were with the NYPD and NYFD. They tried getting people out of the buildings and do clean up. My cousin worked on the 76th floor of tower 1. I'm extremely afraid to fly.

Hi Stella! I will be applying for your airline this summer as i will be retiring from being a Firefighter here in CLT which is a base with your company!! I hear so...many people say they dont like being a FA and are really negative. I have always wanted to be a FA and you have to know what it entails, the good bad and the ugly lol. Is the Reserve time for your airline 24hours increments or 12 hour increments and will it be changing anytime soon?

I tried so many times to be an FA. I did everything right and even thought I nailed the interviews but would always get cut in the end. Lol. Last time I think what went wrong is I’d recently been very sick and my ears were clogged, so I thought I heard the interviewer tell me to put my purse, umbrella and stuff down in the middle of a walkway as we headed to sit down. 😂 Pretty sure he thought I was a moron after that.
