What’s the best way to find a hotel for that cheap as an FA?

Great question!!! I would say the best way to the hotels is to download the apps that are teamed up with the hotels like (IHG or Marriot bonvoy, etc.), and then call the hotels to figure out what the deals are. Sometimes there’s a direct code linked to the hotel that you have to use for your airline that takes off a significant amount of money. Another great way is to ask around when you are in the crew lounge, because most of the people who have to commute in, will know which hotel offers the cheapest price😄

Congratulations on receiving your CJO🥳! And yes indeed, discounts galore! Most airlines are teamed up with hotels and when you show your badge, or put in your airline discount code, you receive a percentage off of the hotel, or a flat rate for your airline😄!

When it comes to writing a résumé that stands out for flight attending, I highly suggest plugging in key words like “customer service”, “diversity”, and “safety”, to make it more applicable towards the opportunity. Writing a great job objective that includes reasoning about why being an FA interests you is also always a great way to start your resume! I hope you found this beneficial! As a FA you most certainly can😄! If you get randomed however, you’ll want to make sure you’re in uniform so they don’t take anything. If you are dressed as a civilian, they have the right to confiscate anything a normal civilian couldn’t bring with them through security.

I personally only know how to apply chapstick lol . I have a virtual interview coming up but I don’t want that to be the reason I not get it.

Awesome video! Thanks for sharing! I’m slowly but surely following behind you I’m the process? Overall how much would you recommend saving before training? Also are you allowed to say the new 2022 stipend amount? Im an over preparer I know lol

Hello and welcome😄! I am an over preparer as well and I would recommend saving 3 months worth of your bills before leaving for training, that’s what I did, but I know that’s not doable for everyone, so just do your best. Anything is better than nothing, but if nothing is what you come in with, then you can still find a way to make it work! Everyone’s situation is different, but there’s always a way. At my time of training, we were receiving an hourly minimum wage for the state that our training was in😅 less than $8 an hour.
