I wish I had thought to bring little gifts for the crew. I took my kids on their first flight 2 months ago. They’re 6 and 4 and the flight attendants and pilots were so amazing. They got to sit in the cockpit, wear the pilots hat, press all the buttons. My oldest was super nervous but they really helped calm his nerves. It was just the coolest first flight experience.

Because of you I bought $5 Starbucks cards for all the crew on my recent SFO-LHR-SFO. They were so appreciative and they did their best to keep me topped up with booze the entire flight and when I told them I was going back for my mum's 85th birthday they went and got me a bottle of champagne from the front of the plane!

Aussie here- I always give my FA's a small gift, let them know how much they're appreciated especially during the Rona times! Tricky to work out what to get given you need to be safe, but my go to us usually a big bo of Cabury Favourites so they're individually wrapped & can be shared among the crew. They always love it & usually give me a bottle of champagne on the plane even though I'm always in economy lol!

Since I started to watch flight attendants on you tube I give my crews small snacky snacks from the place I fly from. It is always so cute when I hand them some sweets and they are so happy and it makes me so happy. Last time during Easter I also gave gifty to pilots they were so sweet about it :).

I think you are just delightful. I used to be a flight attendant and I can give you one hint, when your hotel room is let’s say Grodi simply call down and ask for another room tell them it’s dirty or whatever you feel like telling telling them at the front desk. The whole time I flew I got one or two little gifts but for some reason I guess back in the day they gave us money, usually not from our home country but that’s OK I know we’ll be back in ScotlandOr wherever eventually. You’ve got a great attitude keep it up and thanks for all the enjoyable Viddy videos.

KAT!!! You have to order the ONE SIZE BEAUTY "Patrick Starr" makeup wipes.. they are full of skincare products. I used them to remove very light makeup and my skin is left feeling super clean and moisturized. I usually do a 2nd cleansing yet with these on very little makeup I don't have to. They are $7.50 for 21 BIG wipes...OMG 😲 SO SO GOOD. I just ordered 4 more packs...

Kat could you share the footage with your airlines regarding the hotel? The reason I ask is b/c when I traveled for my company, I was randomly selected to do a survey for the accommodation that were provided. I had a similar situation as you did. The heating system was very loud, the hallway smelt moldy, the door did not lock correctly (which was a safety concern), the mattress was cheap and very uncomfortable. I complained to the front desk and asked for a room change. They told me they were full. The hotel next door was also full. When I listed all the the problems on the survey, someone from my travel team called me. They also called another person who traveled the week after I did who did not get the survey. I ended up getting a call back and was told that person also had similar issues. My company dropped that hotel for a better one. Its possible that your travel team is not aware of these issues.

I told my friend to look out for you on her flight from Heathrow to Charlotte last Friday and back this Friday. From Charlotte she was then transfering to Memphis or Nashville, as visiting Wlvis's home and doing a coach tour. A tip for Primark (or Priamarnie, as we often call it in the UK,) if you have time, always try on things, as you can pick up three things, all marked the same size, but they will all be different, too big, to small, or even one that is the right size. Primark are well known for their sizing not being good. Best bet is to take a tape measure, if you don't have time to try things on. It's okay if you live near a Primark, as you can take stuff back within 28 days for a refund or exchange (in the UK,) but if like you, don't have one near you, best try on or measure. When you do eventually get to London, go to their flagship store in Oxford Street or in one of the big Westfield Shopping Centres in either Stratford or White City.

Yeah, that hotel was, ummm not a favorite, and that noise from the vent!😵‍💫🥴 I have an app on my phone that plays all kinds of things to help you get your sleep and you can’t hear all the annoying things that keep you awake! Right now I’m listening to soothing rain in a sleeper car, and they have many others like blowing fans, etc. Put your ear phones in and snooze 😴 away!

DTW is my home airport, so it was fun to see it in background. There is another completely separate terminal there, but I’m most commonly in the one you were in. However, for a trip last year, I flew home on a different airline which put me in the other terminal where I hadn’t been in a few years. It was like twilight zone, like I knew I was in Detroit, but nothing looked right 😵‍💫

What are you gonna do next time, are you also giving up an international flight to London or Hawaii? When you work international flights then usually you work less flights because they are longer and you can have more days off, is it not an advantage with international flights where you get more days off or do you prefer domestic flights over international flights and maybe miss places that you would have loved like for instance Cancun or Brazil or India or Italy?
