Hey Kat, professional audio engineer here. Regarding the audio quality, I would suggest contacting Rode directly & getting their advice on how to make your mics & cameras work together better. A few alternate ideas would be Shure, Sennheiser & Zoom mics. All of them are very good quality & are reasonably priced. I do pick up on the "live-ness" of the acoustics of the rooms in your house that you usually film in, but it generally doesn't bother me too much. If you're interested, you can get acoustic tiles to attach to the walls or ceilings of the room & use a special paint to match to the color to your walls & ceiling so its less obvious that they're actually there. I would suggest Prime Acoustic. I've had really good luck with their stuff. You always have very well put together videos & I appreciate the music that you include in them. Nice job, keep up the good work & don't let the haters rain on your parade. Cheers!

I really like the idea of keeping the long videos here on KZbin and the short videos can be the how to’s you’re talking about. A live maybe one day a month or every two weeks would be fun. With your arthritis, stress is a big component of it. Love your videos in full length! Just do what you feel is right for you! You can't please everybody. As you said, you have a job, you have a business, you have pups, you have a husband and you have YOU! It is a privilege to be allowed in to take up a part of it.

I've always had the impression that it comes from a vlogging stand point - I legit have no idea what people are talking about. First off, I love your videos, always have. This old lady loves your trips especially! Secondly, don't try to pressure yourself into a 'live' schedule. Honestly, I think once a month would be enough for that. I love your trips, and don't care much about flight attendant tips, but would still watch. I love your positive energy, and fair warning, would fan girl if I ever saw you at an airport. lol Just do what you do, and we'll watch. There are always haters, or just people who feel the need to criticize because their own lives don't make them happy. You do you!

All advice is not sound advice, all criticism isn’t worth addressing! I do like that you do try to do things that make the people who watch you happy! Those who truly love you will work with you through the good, bad, and ugly! But hopefully you can weed out those who are genuinely giving you helpful suggestions and those who are just genuinely being mean!
