I don't use the Tessan travel adapters. I have few different ones. But one tip that I would add is to be sure to have a spare adapter handy. I have lost an adapter or 2 during my travels before. Speaking of which, 1 of my lost adapters was actually stolen from me. I couldn't prove who stole it. But regardless, I am glad that I brought a spare.

Flexibility and patience isn't always easy when it comes to air travel. My mom told me to think of the word HALT: hungry, angry, lonely, and tired- small reminders that we need to take a breath😊 Great video!!❤

A another FA on YT complains about everything: not getting to work the galley because she's not a people person, the hotel rooms, the ceramic mug in the hotel room, the lack of intelligence of her co workers. I just can't believe she constantly complains in every vlog. You on the other hand are wonderful. The best attitude! AA is lucky to have you!

I love how you ended the video with Luna! I remember seeing a video for people who are afraid to fly and they recommended any time on your flight you start to get anxious picture yourself coming home, picture your front door, your dog waiting for you or other loved ones. That way you are telling your brain you are indeed going to make it home (this of course is for white knuckle fliers that think they are going to go down every time they get on a plane). So seeing Luna at the end reminded me of that trick to just picture your homecoming to get you through.

Hey Julia, you know I think it's very real of you to be yourself on these vlogs and let folks know that not only do passengers have a hard time with delayed and/or canceled flights, so do the FA's and Pilots. You are all human and have families you want to get home to safetly and in a timely manner so maybe people will realize before they give you grief next time that they aren't alone in the travel misery that sometimes just takes place. It's hard to keep positive, even remote working as I do every day I assure you I have my moments. ;) Stay safe up there!!

I have a very lengthy travel list that I use every time I go on a trip. Also, I have my carry-on which I never unpack. This way I usually have everything I need. Thanks for another great vlog Julia!❤✈

@@JettingJulia - For a gal who deals with checklists at work, it's kind of amusing that you occasionally "forget" stuff from home. . . haven't we all? Got a great chuckle out of your "let me at it" action while tearing into your dinner - being hungry can do that to people! Speaking of hungry, I always throw in 2-3 individual-sized Kirkland Trail Mix bags from Costco when I'm traveling, they're great for reducing the hunger pangs when you know it's going to be awhile before you can eat properly. Great vlog, and excellent example of your "human" side - not everyday is sunshine and roses, sometimes the Grinch sneaks in! As usual, Cheers from GEG ❣

Hi Julia, your pilots typically fly the aircraft on a lift over drag (L/D) maximum profile in order to optimize range and fuel burn. Pilots have their fuel usage monitored and recorded, so they usually don't make up for lost time by flying faster than what L/D max specifies. Likely your flight made up the 10 minutes because of more favorable winds than forecast.✈🙂 P.S.: Not being critical or telling you something you don't know -- make a pack-up checklist and use it for each trip, or even each layover. To make it easy, I use the memo function on my phone and create checkable tasks for all items to pack/bring.🤓 P.P.S.: Luna is the best pup!🐶

I’m retired and there are places I wouldn’t mind seeing but air travel keeps me from doing it. The actual flying doesn’t bother me just the process of getting through an airport. But I have a beach vacation condo that is only a 3 hour drive so that is pretty much my travel these days. And I’m fine with that.

Wow that was some Delay 😮 Julia its great that you tell they way things are there and then. Its not all plain sailing Crew are just as hard affected with any delays, cancelled flights if not more due to all the hours you work , tiredness sets in with all the different timelines 😮 . As much as the passengers . So Happy you Finally Got home 🙏. Thats so sad the westher in Florida was not nice , i heard from friends they had family who just came back from Florida they too had the grey skys locals found it cold but they said it was nice temp 😂. I definitely could tell, the level of annoyance did rise, the more hungry you got. Nevertheless, i totally felt for you in this specific situation, the grave for food when being hungry is horrible. In addition to that, delays and whatnot, doesnt help for a better end of the day. Thanks for still sharing, even though it was one of the more rough work days. Becoming a flight attendant, definitely got into the closer selection of possible jobs for my future career while watching your videos! Great insights, honest and elaborate :)

So as you have said in the past, delays affect not only us but the crew also. This is why I use the app for most all large airlines, so that I’m aware asap of changes, like this can I sleep in an extra hour and delay my drive to the airport.

Make yourself a packing list so you don't have to rely upon your memory. You work hours that are tough on your body. Fatigue affects memory. There has to be an app that would deliver you a pair of socks. We can order everything now. I know Costco delivers. You'd have to find something more appropriate for just socks. Yes, front desks are awesome and almost always have toiletries if you forget your own.

When I get jittery I have to check my blood sugar (I'm diabetic). And I get food. If I'm aymt work and processing people out of court I make sure I have protein bars, trail mix or some sort of healthy snack

If that was a bad attitude-it was by far tge best bad attitude ive ever seen anyone had!You didnt evwn complain.You just said you werefrustrated.Wich it would be.When your trip home youre looking forward to,gets delayed.Trust me,you dont need to be so hard on yourself.Its not like you tore the hotel room apart turned red,and had veins sticking out of your neck!I do that often,when things dont go right.I mean,you dont even SWEAR!Thats it!I want your attutude!
