To those of you saying that the salary of crew here in the Philippines is “mababa” (low), please take note of what I said that this was my salary 9years ago. Please let’s avoid spreading hate and generalizing all the crew. Just because you experienced something not so nice from one crew of any airline, it does not mean all of them share the same traits. Let’s break stereotypes and be more open minded. I would like my channel to be a venue of honesty, transparency, and positivity where hopefuls can learn a thing or two about the aviation industry. Having said that, comments coming from all trolls, lurkers or those who just come to this channel with the intention of spreading negativity will be deleted. Don’t worry i will not block you, feel free to watch and waste your precious time watching my videos. To my ever supportive subscribers, trust that I will continue uploading contents that will enlighten your queries. XOXO Kath 🥰

The 5 yo in me who dreamt of becoming a flight attendant is alive again, always dreamt of it until I grew up and unfortunately wasnt that blessed with height, probably around 5 ft, so the dream slightly faded away. I am in my last year in engineering now, if given a chance after this, I'd be more than okay to pursue my dream first before practicing my degree. Thank you for being an inspiration, Ms. Kath. It also obviously depends on what airline you work for and where you are based from. Airlines from the USA pay substantially higher than other airlines. For example, if you work for Asiana, one of the better airlines in all of Asia, you’re average salary is around 4000-5000 dollars a month (basic pay plus hours flown) while if you are based in California, you’re average salary can be as high as 9000-10000 dollars a month. If you are based in another state, the salary can be as low as 5000-6000 dollars a month. So, it really depends on the airline and where you are based.

Kaya sana other than the salary is mas mataas ang HMO kase kahit anong dami ng ipon.. kulang pa iyan kapag nag kasakit tayo ng something serious from work related. I remember a cabin crew na Filipina sa Qatar Airways na so brang thankful ako kase she promised to give me another set of meal when everyone is tulog na.. bumalik siya.. wake me up.. with two set of hot arabian meals. Is it something that a lot of FAs want to do it for a long period of time? Only few have stayed in the business that long. The toll on bio clock is a huge trade off. It puts too much burden on one's health. You really cant eat very healthy food as FAs are just confined to airline and hotel foods. You cant have a regular gym routine. On one's day off, FAs just sleep. I would rather have a regular paying job and do regular activities. Maybe for experience, if you are pretty or goodlooking, you can try it for couple of years.

Hi, Miss Kath! Now that we've talked about the Cabin Crew salary for Qatar-based Flight Attendants, I think it would be nice if you'd be able to tell us more about the cost of living in Qatar. Let's say a Cabin Crew earns 2800 USD which is roughly equivalent to 10,000 QAR. I am really curious. Would 10,000 QAR be enough to live comfortably in Qatar as a single person? What if you're living there with a family? Thank you, Miss Kath! I would really appreciate your kind feedback. :)

Basic11k per month, so 5500 on 15th and 5500 on the end of the month? How is it uncomfortable discussing the salary when she quoted the salary based on years ago. Not present.. At present, she only said more or less a little is added to it. So, there is no divulging of real salary because what one gets at present is only an estimate

Good Salary and Benefits. But you cant help to notice that it is almost impossible to get in due to "physical requirements". In Philippines, it is almost impossible to be in flight services if you're not at least 5'5". You have to be damn flawless, etc you name it. Im not in the industry so feel free to correct me. Thats just based on my observation from my sister who's studying flights services. In other countries, you can be morena, black, yellow, brown and 5'00" and still be a stewardess. Also, don't forget, you must know how to swim.
