To those of you saying that the salary of crew here in the Philippines is “mababa” (low), please take note of what I said that this was my salary 9years ago. Please let’s avoid spreading hate and generalizing all the crew. Just because you experienced something not so nice from one crew of any airline, it does not mean all of them share the same traits. Let’s break stereotypes and be more open minded. I would like my channel to be a venue of honesty, transparency, and positivity where hopefuls can learn a thing or two about the aviation industry. So happy & excited with your cabin crew series, when I saw your video on my recoms, with no hesitations I clicked and viola, subscribe and ring the bell! The 5 yo in me who dreamt of becoming a flight attendant is alive again, always dreamt of it until I grew up and unfortunately wasnt that blessed with height, probably around 5 ft, so the dream slightly faded away. I am in my last year in engineering now, if given a chance after this, I'd be more than okay to pursue my dream first before practicing my degree. Thank you for being an inspiration, Ms. Kath. It also obviously depends on what airline you work for and where you are based from. Airlines from the USA pay substantially higher than other airlines. For example, if you work for Asiana, one of the better airlines in all of Asia, you’re average salary is around 4000-5000 dollars a month (basic pay plus hours flown) while if you are based in California, you’re average salary can be as high as 9000-10000 dollars a month. If you are based in another state, the salary can be as low as 5000-6000 dollars a month. So, it really depends on the airline and where you are based.
