I got my CJO and my training starts on September 27. I’m excited! Thank you for doing this video. I’m trying to get my training clothes and other items ready. Hoping that there’s a Costco or Walmart or Target nearby for groceries lol

Yaaay! Congrats 😊 you’re very welcome. The clothing was the hardest part for me because I waited until the last minute so don’t be like me haha. Also there should be stores nearby, I remember us going to a Walmart to grab a few things after class. Try instacart if you don’t feel like actually going to shop. Best of luck!! If you check the description box I have a list of the clothing items I bought on Amazon 😊 I brought like 2 turtle necks, 2 pair of black pants, one dress, and 2 button ups. I know it can be overwhelming with packing lol but you don’t have to overpack on clothes. You wear the same thing really and there are laundry facilities at the hotel if need be! ❤️

Hey! They must have just added that change because we could wear closed toe shoes as long as it was all black. So I wore flats/heels. Good luck in training!

Hi! Aside from breakfast at the hotel, there was no food provided but if you watch week 2s training I show you how I made my meals 😊 & they do pay for your hotel and you are paid for training

hey love! how do you manage your business and this? i’m an esthetician and have my own business but more nervous since i’ll be away more. do you find it still easy to balance?

Hi!! I actually haven’t figured out just how to balance it yet if I’m being honest lol. I took a mini hiatus from my business before training until I get adjusted to the scheduling for the first few months. Honestly first year may be tough being on reserve, body adjusting and having such an unpredictable schedule. But I’d pick a base where you can get seniority quicker that would allow you to have more control over your scheduled days. We only have 11 days off a month so you could use those for clients and we get our schedule for the full month ahead of time so you could also release your schedule for booking just a month at a time. It’s a lot of trial and error for me right now but I’ll be sure to do an update once I figure it out ❤️

@@theflyyesti Aw you got this!! 😉❤️ I wouldn’t say I had a ton saved but everyone’s situation is different. We do get a little something in training lol. I was fortunate to still have another source of income coming in and made sure to pay off close to all my debts. Many are surprised by the income so I would definitely prepare ahead of time to lessen the shock. Then you can actually enjoy what you’re doing!

Hey beautiful quick question I got my cjo and I start training for the same airline 2/22/22 and I have a question not sure if you are able to answer or not but I was wondering when they do compliance checks do they hand checks like to see if you have tattoos I have this faded tattoo on the side of my middle finger that I am worried about but I plan to cover it with makeup just not sure if I will find a good enough makeup so that its not noticeable?

Congrats!! 🎉 When we did it, they didn’t specifically check hands for visible tattoos it’s more so if they do see them. I used cheap concealer that matched my skin to cover mine and it worked out fine on my wrists better than foundation. Just bring it with you to the training center to touch up before compliance and you should be fine. The check takes maybe 30 seconds, if that lol. They may check hands now in regards to fingernail length being that a new rule came out. But I wouldn’t worry too much about it. A girl had tattoos all on her fingers/hand and covered hers well

Heyyy beautiful! Congrats!! You can bring ANY type of luggage to training. I had a huge grey suitcase lol. The only time that matters is after you graduate. For your IOE you will need the specific sizes/black color 😊
