Flight From Ashcroft To Sandown, Isle Of Wight - 200 Miles Without Stopping In My Eurostar EV97

A trip to Sandown, Isle Of Wight with Charlie Appleby flying in G-CFTZ and me in G-CDJR on Saturday 30/05/2020. It was a lovely calm flight there mostly but the last 30 miles or so were quite thermic and turbulent which was a sign of things to come for the journey back. The journey back will be my next video and is definitely worth a watch!

Hi , nice video and yes we take our rib out around Hurst and THE I.O.W when the weathers ok . Nice to see it from the air . Should you ever get down around Bournemouth for a long week end , give a shout all ways willing to slash some cash for a trip .😉👍👍👍

Catching up on some of your previous videos. Another great day for flying (and filming) I know just how hot those cockpits can get! Nice to hear shout outs to the growing UK KZbin pilot community :-) Very clear shots and great camera angles. What settings do you shoot at? Well done Nick! Ben said well done on close to 200 subs but I see 367 today, great progress. (If the analytics are anything to go by I have lost 20 this weekend?)

Jodel Flyer both Ben and Rory have helped me masively with advice, editing techniques etc. I run 3 x GoPro Hero 8 Black’s on the standard go pro colour settings at 30fps in 4K (the 4K is something I’m considering adjusting down to 1080p as it’s very slow on the edit and it works my computer pretty hard) I can’t see how you have lost any?! How very bizzare!

@@LetsGoFlying - Your picture clarity is great but I am sure my PC and internet connection would not cope with 4K so I film in 1080 at 30fps. Now goind to look at your Severe Turbulence video.

Andrew Martin good question! Yes it probably would have been wise, however we were careful to stay within gliding distance of land!
