Flight Into Ithaca N.Y.

Since we have not been to this airport before, and we were in the area, we planned to land and then switch seats so Mike could pilot the return flight.

I grew up in Ithaca and actually worked at Ithaca tower when I was in High School. It was a career program I was in. I learned a lot about aviation.

That’s great to hear. Did you ever take any flight lessons? Having any career in aviation would be a great career to have. But my involvement was first Limited to jumping out of planes and now involves flying them for fun.

Nice! I lived in Ithaca for 16 years but never used the airport.

Torgo, Thanks for your comment! That is one of the reasons I like to do these videos of flying to airports, for the people who are familiar with the city to recognize the location. As well as for other pilots who haven't been there would have an actual view of what to expect when they get there.
