I've forgotten how much I love their sense of humor. I saw Jermaine Clement at Vinni's Pizzaria back on Bedford Ave in Williamsburg Brooklyn, NY in 2008. He was with his wife and baby. Kristen Schaal was there too. And, in reference to the conversation in this video, no one was approaching them or letting on that they recognized them, but I did exchange a look with the worker behind the counter like "we recognize them, and we're amused to see them".

I lived in Wellington until recently and I liked it very much. I met Jemaine once at the Capital Market food court (half of the visitors were guys asking for spare change, pigeons and sparrows as per usual). I did light up as I'm foreign obviously, but then I was petrified and froze (as some people tend to do when they see their favourite artists). All the people were pretty chill except for kids singing his song from "Moana" and shouting "Bye, Jemaine!" And my husband would often see him riding his bike to the gym, but he was definitely trying not to be noticed.

Brett's kid used to go to the childcare place just around the corner from where I live. I've seen Brett and Jemaine walking around Wellington, Brett driving around or riding his bike, or in the supermarket. Nobody goes crazy when they see them here. People in the audience laughed when they called the PM "Jacinda". That's how she'd like to be called. It's New Zealand! It's all very informal here.

The Prime Minister of New Zealand lives in Premier House. Brett was a little confused, it was not a "pre-school"... however was a children's dental clinic for a period from 1935-1990.
