These guys did a TV series (Fight Of The Conchords) in 2007 which ran for a couple of seasons. The series was about the adventures of two New Zealand musicians who are trying to make it in New York. They bill themselves as 'New Zealand's fourth most popular guitar-based digi-bongo acapella-rap-funk-comedy folk duo'. The show is freaking' hilarious and was a smash hit for HBO. All of the episodes feature at least one original song of their's too. They're primarily comedians but also pretty good musicians too. They've since branched out into other things such as acting, script writing and directing.
