They are funnier because they are so musically good. You don't notice how well they play but you do definitely laugh more. There's a riff Jermaine plays in the song Jenny. I can't imagine how he can do it and sing and do the facial thing at the same time.

The are second to none, other than the bango armless bob and Sherly, the sheep. By the way, I came here to comment I saw a guy singing this song to a girl (Circular Quay, Sydney, Australia) without Jermaine's commentary finishing the song with "I'm not a literally a piano playing seagull who also sings...
