I really enjoyed your video, but I wish you had flown over Penlee. When I was aged 12 to 13, in 1946-47, I lived in the army's Fort Penlee, which was near but above the south end of Earl's Drive. My daily trip to school in Saltash started at 7.15 for the 30 minute walk through the woods to Kingsand to catch the school bus at 7.45. Coming home took from 4.00 to 5.45, both ways usually in the dark! (And in winter of 1947 in the snow!) Now I can't even find the fort on Google maps, or any kind of footprint as to where it was located. A nice steady drone video would be very helpful! (Btw G maps shows a "Penlee Battery' but I don't think it's in the right place at all. The fort was very high up at the top of the hill, for the benefit of the heavy coastal artillery, not down on the beach.)

@@sammulkerrin The fort was about 1 km due east of Rame church, along Military Road. Since I wrote a my original comment above, about a year ago, Google maps seem to have been amended and the words "Penlee Battery" now seem to be in more or less the right place. Thank you for your interest.
