Is it worth visiting Mt Edgcumbe Kingsand Cawsand Bay? Coastal walk

Thank you for the video. My wife ad I did this walk in September 2019 to complete the whole of the Cornish section of the South West Coast Path. We celebrated with a bottle of champagne next to the ferry point at Cremyll. It took us nearly 13 years to do it but it was worth it. Your videos help me remember the superb views ad why I love Cornwall!

Hi guys,in my opinion,your cornish walking trails are so interesting to watch,the rugged cliffs stretching along as far as the naked eye can see, The sounds of the wild blue green waves,thundering against the rocks below,with unabating perpetual motion,clear blue sky,sunshine shimmering on the horizon,undulating sea ,relentlessly rolling onto the shore beautiful white surf dissipating before your very eyes, It's so awesome to see the stunning scenery all around you,different land marks ,you come across off the beaten track, It's particularly charming,the name given to the kissing gates,definitely a lovely location for a vacation, tony and joan

Plymouth is so near but a million miles away in every respect.I was talking to a Plymouth boy the other day who as a van driver had to deliver to the Rame peninsula.He told me that he had never been here and had never really heard of the placenames! I've actually met many Plymothians like that.A woman i knew once where i used to work was a Devonporter and she 'very strongly' referred to herself as Cornish,some over there do.And in respect of Plymouth,it is in Devon but it is very much a Cornish city in it's real old population.You'd be hard pressed to find an established Plymouth family that doesn't have Cornish roots,they're probably more Cornish in their bloodline than many who live in Cornwall today! Stonehouse and St.Budeaux on the Plymouth side used to be part of Cornwall once upon a time too.@ 4.31,that is Barn pool. It is said that HMS Beagle was moored there just before it set sail for the Galapagos and Charles Darwin spent his last day in this country walking the grounds of Mount Edgcumbe.That crossing at Cremyll is a very old one,Cremyll comes from the Cornish for 'crooked pool' you probably noticed the currents where a few tides all meet.It's a beautiful walk for sure,lot's of hidden gems on this forgotten peninsula.

Hi Andy, I used to work with a lady that lived in Saltash but was a committed Plymouth Argyle fan. She used to make pasties to take to the match! Andrew used to take James to watch the occasional match and there was always a strong Cornish contingent! Sarah :)

This walk has to be my favourite to date. (I keep saying that) but, this is a super interesting video with some interesting and glorious scenery to boot........I have been to Mt Edgcombe but, many years ago but never ventured any further so this was especially interesting to me. We have filmed our first book release as part of our Cotehele visit! Looking through the clips, it is quite funny!! so make sure you look out for the video, probably mid June by the time I finalise the edit! Do you Know anything about the, what looks like abandoned terraced gardens after passing the viewing platform in the grounds of Mt Edgecumbe

I think we were so distracted by follies that we missed this! We will be returning the Mount Edgcumbe later this year to take a look inside the house. The house was bombed during WWII and the family moved up river to Cotehele for a while, may be that was when the terrace gardens were abandoned, not sure, just thinking out loud really! Sarah :)
