You'll soon get your fill of this on your way through the Yukon! The lack of landing sites is a little nerve-racking!

Nice! You may not get to fly as often as us Texas guys, but when you do...Damn that's nice!

LOVE your videos (especially the one where you took grandma for a flight!!). What engine are you running and whats the hp rating? (for your engine and also max hp rating for the aircraft) Thanks

Thanks! This is a Jabiru 3300 6 cylinder, rated at 120 hp. The engine is the largest recommended by the factory for the flane.

999millenium, Fly 1000nm solo would be no problem with a flight time between 6-7 hours. In fact multiple Sonex have made longer journeys than that! In my plane that's probably 2 stops along the way. Having a passenger that long would be "cozy," but doable. Flight time might be a little longer because of the extra weight.

Yours is not the B model they have now which is little wider looking at these videos with 2 people it's much shoulder room.

Correct. Mine was finished in 2012. The "B" model was just introduced this past year. Shoulder room should be about the same, but the panel and leg room has increased.

Mike Kelley What do you think of the aero vee turbo VW based engine compared to the engine you went with the Jabiru 3300?
