Let's have a chat with SSG Fricker. She explains why her family was a huge inspiration to join the National Guard and also works with some of the same people as her dad when he served in the same unit.

AWESOME! Well done SSG Fricker. 1985-1995 91B30 (68W today) here, also, but declined Flight Medic School x3 because as US Army had other plans for me, I guess. After 10y 3m, 20d left (ETS) to be a BSN, then a Nurse Practitioner (NP) and Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) in Emergency Care, and retired in 2018 after 16 years as an NP in Emergency Care and 30+ years EMS in some role or other. Thanks to the US Army! HOOAH! Be safe.

My first guard unit in 1999, was the 126th Med Co at Mather. I was an aircraft re-fueler and remember going down to Van Fleck Ranch for training here and there. I remember when Janet Graves was a SGT and Dan Anderson (CPT America) was a 1LT. Laura Yeager was my BN CO 3/140th AVN when I worked down in Stockton. Lots of good folks back then and sounds like its in the family for a few-

Motivation!!! I flew casevac with Marines as a doc in Afghanistan2010- 2011, it was wild. The flights she can perform are much greater than anything I could ever do. 🫡
