Hey dude! i did this ATR72 flight from Wellington to Christchurch just 3 days ago on 22/05/24 Wed, flight only took 50 minutes., awesome video you made there Supersonic Kiwi👍 No tea or coffee offered though on my flight, but only water and piece of fudge

Hi there! No, I don’t even look at them - I’ve probably read three ever, although I used to study the pages with the fleet information on long haul flights back in the day, before there was seat back entertainment. If I’d collected them I’d almost have a full set going back quite a long time!

Water score needs work lol. If it’s as expected then shouldn’t it be 10/10? 😂 Did the water raise or lower the tea score? Always did love the view of the Kaikoura mountains tracking down the coast. Hope your leg is on the improve mate!!

Haha, yeah, I feel like I’ve boxed myself into a corner with the water score. But how does water get better than water? I’m off crutches now, still having physio, should be right by Christmas - thanks for asking.

Thank you. Yes, he did get a bit tripped up. Maybe things were beeping at him in the cockpit. My hope was to make it funnier by accentuating it with the subtitles, I hope it didn’t come across as mean. I hope you wrist is healing up ok - the rehab is such a drag. I also hope you were doing something epic when you broke it!

Ace trip report! 👍10/10 The distance from plane to inside terminal must've felt like forever with a broken leg, cool 2 c the CHC staff were so helpful🤗 Was there a savory option for the snack? 😸

Thanks! 10 is pretty outstanding as a score - amazing!! On this flight it was the bikkie or nothing - lately I’ve noticed an option of fudge on the ATRs and Q300s, but no savoury option. On the A320s they often have the bikkie or corn chips. The other day I got a small bag of popcorn - it was pretty good, but I wasn’t filming so no one will ever see that one!

Looking at their schedules going to Chatham Island might be a bit tricky to work into a trip, but I should be able to get a few flights on the Saab 340s, if I plan it right. 700, crazy! Thanks! A long slow grind, but it’s getting there! If I can get to 1000 I’ll be ‘real’ in the KZbin universe and apparently I’ll gain access to some better tools in KZbin Studio, which would be pretty cool. On day I’ll get there, one day… In the meantime it sort of amazes me that there are 700 humans on the planet who are into what I make enough to subscribe - thanks for being one of those humans!

Just flew zk-mvn to Palmerston North where we did a go-around! Connected through to Auckland after my a320 flight. Good video!

I reckon go arounds are actually quite fun, but only if they land them on the second attempt! Certainly no fun if you subsequently divert or return to your starting point. I remember a few flights where we circled and had a few attempts and then went back to where we started from - hours and hours in the air to go zero kms - they didn't give us AirPoints either! YEs it was a turbulent approach. Fly into palmy often go-arounds aren’t common there like Wellington. Have a speedy revovery
