Honestly your dad is one of the best parts of the videos. Sometime I’d like to see a full video of “shooting an approach” since as just a new pilot I don’t really understand what that means.

I have to say something…. I think that you are the most beautiful person. You remind me of my neice. I have to say that when you’re in the sky you always have a natural smile every minute in the sky. I don’t know about pops, buts I see him as over protective and knowledgeable in the air. He adjusts his seat back to view the whole flight deck as any parent would do. I can only imagine how proud he is of his little girl!!❤❤❤ He helps but never takes over the controls. Keep the blue side up (I think that’s what KZbin Kelsey says). You’re amazing and keep it going! Last note… the flight where you opted to turn around because of an instrument malfunction which showed you burning through more fuel than expected. WOW!! Very impressive and responsible action on your part. You did the correct action!!!

OMG my lovely pilot. Watch pops eyes. He is monitoring every gauge without questions. Just look at pops eyes. You’re in control and he is only worried about your safety! You are loved! If my parents were like that in drivers training then I might have been a more responsible driver!

Stinson is a really cool and historic airport. I flew into there a couple of weeks ago for a conference. Your Cherokee brings back many fond memories for me as I learned to fly in a Cherokee Arrow when I was a kid…and my dad still owns that airplane. Told him a few weeks ago that he’d better never sell when he hangs up his wings. My ride has been a turbo-normalized Bonanza for the past 20 years.

Nice Father’s Day video. With regard to the Time-lapse stuff I would just as soon have cuts to the next scene time lapse really doesn’t do anything for me personally. Just my opinion.

Oil Pro-Tip: speaking of spilt oil, consider that spigot on the bottle to be on the top side, instead of the more common bottom side… much better flow control… less whoopses! 🥴🌴
@vadmal5210 Жыл бұрын
I'm not quit shure how much a "quarter" of oil is but I guess it's about a liter. In Sweden we normally pay around 180 SEK (almost equel to 20 US$). Gasoline and Diesel is charged around 20 SEK per liter, almost equel to 2 US$. 🤨🤨

Great video, again. Love it when you and "pops" are out and about. You all have such a great interaction and he has the personality to go on camera with you. Very Cool ! Hi Kay!!! Since you do a lot of flying where you land, eat, and come back, you should come to Grand Prairie Municipal Airport (KGPM) They have a nice FBO there along with a cafe called Radial Cafe!!! Me and my dad fly out of there in a GA Plane. It is in the Dallas/Ft.Worth Area. See you in the sky!!!!!

Pop's said he wanted a twin. Maybe a PA24 Comanche would work. Constant speed prop, retractable landing gear 250 HP/ 2400 rpm/25 inches manifold pressure is a 150 knot cruise. But, a good plane with up graded avionics would be about 185K. How would that work for you ? The investment is pretty steep when stepping up to a high performance airplane. That rivals some light twins.

I don't mean to critique your flying but I noticed that sometimes you need to step on the ball which got me thinking: does your autopilot control the rudder or do you need to still give manual rudder inputs? (I fly a 172h that does not have ap) 6:21 I like the time lapse!

I can’t imagine the price to fly into SA is that expensive where it’s cheaper to fly in about 45 minutes south and have to rent a car to SA. Whereas you can land in SA and get the hotel shuttle to your hotel about 15 minutes away.

Watch your channel a lot Kay. I am in San Antonio and a couple of weeks ago I drove out to Stinson Field for the first time to look in to flying lessons there. So I have a question for you. Did you make arrangements for transportation before getting there or any of your destinations for that matter or do you use Uber or Lyft? They didn’t seem to have much going on at Stinson other than the airport. BTW…I would like to see you try out the Diamond DA40 or DA50 and see what you think. They seem to be nice to pilots like yourself who post videos about their airplanes! ❤

If I was Eye to Eye with your Pops and you were present (to keep him cornered on the subject) I'd tell him that he was as Butt ugly as you are pretty lol. Tell him that for me would you? Your Pops is so cool (but he really shouldn't sing lol)! I appreciate his mechanical aptitude as shown in the mixture advice. Hey Pops... Happy Fathers Day! What I'd like to see in your videos however is how long google would determine that driving would take as compared to how long your flights were. To be fair though you should include the time from the moment you leave your house. I still stand that you should get a Mooney 201 rather than a twin. That's one special airplane that's as pretty as your Pops is ugly lol. """""""HAPPY FATHERS DAY TO ALL"""""""
