Wow, all the trainees in this video have already graduated. It’s really nice to remember these lovely days especially they were our first training days in Etihad training academy. A fascinating video as always. I enjoy your behind the scenes contents. Sure we've heard about flight simulators and cabin mock-ups for training. But a "full flight cabin simulator" was new to me. It really makes sense to make safety training for crew members as realistic as possible. This underlines their attention to detail. On the other end of the size scale this is reflected in their collection of amenity kits including the Etihad tote bag. Gabe's first two landings in the flight simulator showed that there is a reason why pilot training takes a while in order to achieve a smooth landing. Great gesture from that company that they let him in there. And the last attempt seemed to be on the spot. Congratulations! And I guess this has not been your first visit to a flight simulator.

Gabriel, this is my first video of yours and I will now be subscribing as I love how detailed this video was. Well done! On a very personal note, I used to fly for Etihad as Cabin Crew (until 2018) and at 9min30sec, as the camera showed some of the displayed frames in the Etihad Training Academy from prior CC groups.. your cameraman to my great surprise showed myself and my group! I'm so happy it's still displayed there. I miss my life in Abu Dhabi very much and my time at Etihad as it really was the time of my life and have nothing but the most incredible memories. Thank you, thank you for taking me back. Sending my regards from Australia!

WOW Gabriel, thanks that was really interesting. I never knew their flight attendants had their own simulator. But even more amazing considering the number of times I've used one, I didn't realise the drinks stirrer (the teaspoon replacement thingy), was meant to be a propeller. PS, I hope I'm never on an A380 when you're landing it 🤣

As a Cabin crew in another very popular gulf airline, I’m mind blown by the amount of safety training facilities, simulators and stuff EY offers their crew. For us, it’s just a falling apart A320 mockup from the 90’s and dictching and slides are done at a third party school. I’m severely disappointed in my airline’s standards for its cabin crew training

Applied to join the Etihad cadet programme in 2012. Passed first stage, flew out for the next stage and one of the questions in the "skills assessment"was, "Who do you know in the company? What's their ID number?' Clicked 'skip', and the assessment ended immediately... Hopefully they are more open to non-nepos these days...
