I’m from Australia. I’ve been watching Air Crash Investigation series for 10 years. Planes are delayed during landing and take off for people lives and safety only. Bad weather is risky. People should understand that sometimes. (But if this happens in any foreign country, airport security + police will be there within 2 mins to escort him out and resolve or calm down or even arrest him for sometime if violent

Well, if I had been in the Indigo's person's shoes, I would have explained him this way. Firstly for all delays in landings and takeoffs the airline pays fees to the airport, so an airline would never intentionally delay their flights. Secondly, landing and takeoffs are entirely the pilot's decision and not even the CEO can interfere in his decision. Because the pilot is way more aeronautically educated than the shouting man, and he knows best if it is safe to land or take off. Waiting 5 hours is better than taking life risks. The passengers first of all may have complains but there is an educated approach to complain and definitely not pointing fingers while talking! It only shows how airlines nowadays have become cheap to cater to uneducated public like this man. I feel I should be in these situations to counter the stupid logics with concrete ideas which would put the person in shame. Kudos for keeping cool, the Indigo guy.

yup pls book for a fight and accept delay and smile to irrresponsible staff. who give junk food to satisfy you. coimbatore to chennai train is 6 hour journey in shatabdi with no checkin and checkout procedure no barking required delay would be 30minutes maximum. also indigo had shortage of pilots last two months more cancellations and delay but destinations were increased. don't bark for your rights

4:05 Physical assault, Causing Public Nuisance, Disturbing the Peace in a public place, Threatening behavior etc .... the security should have restrained this passenger for a few hours. Put him on the next day's flight and used this footage as evidence of his unruly behavior in a public place.

@@jayandranmohan3018 Airport security's job is to look after the security of passengers and airport. They NEVER EVER cares about flight timings unless some one under protocol is expected to visit. Flight delays happen across the world and it can't be avoided especially for low cost airlines. No flight will be delayed just for minor reasons. Fight gets profit only if it's in Air and not on ground. So all airlines do their best to make profit but they practically can't due to multiple reasons. They can't give you premium service if it's a low cost airline. Here, Indigo followed basic guidelines which should be done as per rule. Pls have a look at this article in economic times. Passengers not believing and that scenes have created by Air Bus Service providers. Air Bus Service providers has to develop trust worthy scientific methods to explain this kind of scenarios to passengers .

On what occasion you thing it's very uneven!... After plane take-off you will be landed in just 40-50minutes in Chennai.... Airport operations are pretty tricky and serious.... Indian passengers never know how to greet an airport staff in a proper way....

People need to understand the difference between a bus depot/bus stop and an airport. Things are quite sensitive at the airports. Delays happen because the crew wants the flight to be in perfect condition to fly. There is no chance of any mistake. Apart from this, bad weather can also cause a flight to delay. So, people should pay a greater respect to all the ground and flying staff, and try to have a mutual understanding whenever there is a delay.
