Thank you so very much for your comment. Yangon Airport is quite compact but the terminal architecture is stunning - quite reminds me of Singapore's Changi Airport. I would love to fly with these other smaller regional airlines, Lao Airlines or Cambodia Angkor Air. Hopefully in the future! - FlightTravels

Good flight review! I see you are drinking wine and then beer later, hope you didnt dizzy after that? Wine and beer dont mix! May be you can manage that. The food and peanuts come from local source in KL obviously. How was the beer taste?

My first flight to Yangon (at this time Rangun or Rangoon) was in April 1978. Flight # UB 222, Union of Burma Airways, from Bangkok to Mingaladon, by a Fokker Fellowship F 28. The food was terrible: A soap box, inside an old sandwich and to big flies. No choice for drinks - only table water available. One of the worst flights I ever had.

I found most Lao airline hostesses are beautiful, but a bit overweight and extra width. Some of them are brought in by the authorities (??) rather than from the pools of beauties in town.
