I'd completely forgotten about this game. I've never played it, but these videos are really making me consider at least picking up the core box.

Loved the game as always and you clearly are getting a hold of the game. I really appreciate the content on this game cause it's ignited my love of it and has got me playing a bunch. Happy to hear you managed to pick up some new packs and saw on your gaming channel you are playing with Val which I think is awesome! Rules things you asked about: You can get a free card into play like you did with wonder man with make the call its a weird interaction between rogers and that card. Rules reference page 30 is for the play, put into play section. The salient bit is the third bullet (might be second in the printed version) "A card that is put into play is not considered to have been played." So make the call is a free card that lets you pay the printed cost of an ally to put them into play which means you aren't "playing" the card. It's a super jank wording thing in this game and it gets weirder, at least to me, cause power of leadership counts as 2 when you pay for a leadership ally with make the call. Honestly this is just a really bad wording thing in my opinion. Ultron specific encounter stuff: So Ultron is super annoying cause of how the villain phase works page (43) The main part is step 2 of it. The villain activates then the minions. So Ultron when he attacks, puts a minion into play, (in form 2) boosts his own damage cause now there is a drone in play, and the minion they just put into play gets an activation. That isn't including the extra drones that come in from the main scheme. So drones, drones everywhere and the goggles will do nothing.

Flik are you just running the hero decks as they are out of the box or are you doing any deckbuilding?
