Awesome tutorial. Thank you! If you have weird green and red lines show up in the animation (wiggling around), its because you have the "Visualize Fields" box checked under Physics->Air. For some reason that box was checked and it threw me for a loop for a second. Just writing this out for anyone who may experience this.

What were your render settings because I have 12 gigs of RAM and I'm trynna render it at 1920x1080 60fps on H.264 the same way I always render all of my other stuff (with no issues and 3+ minutes per video) but somehow this 15 second clip (which I turned mine to 10) is taking over an hour to render and is coming out blurry or pixelated and I followed it button for button, type for type, drag for drag. Thanks!

piece of advice : if anyone is trying to make the project now after 2020 then when you are downloading the traopcole suit select install oldest i.e. 2019 version of that

Guys, i found out how to reverse this. Go to the composition "MATTE", then double-click on it. Next, you see the mp4 file called Matte.mp4, select it and right-click. Click on "Time-Reverse Layer" under the section called "Time" . Have fun! Please, pin this comment, so the others can see this.

awsome tutorial dude. Im having problems with the rendering. I did everything like you did and when im rendering it takes more then 3 hours to render this 15sec. I have a i7-7700k gtx1080ti and 16gb ram. You now how i can make it faster? Give us more tutorials!

I had same problem, had to set a keyframe on each particular layer to stop particle generation. Tutorial was missing this step.
