I enjoy-joyed that...I just wish I could watched you pressure flake it. The finished piece looked AWESOME. Thank you for your patience and wonderful skill ! You'd make a fair indian, as far as your skill-set goes! I'm subbing.

Just found your site, really enjoyed watching you work. Love the way the rock flakes. The texture and color remind me of Burlington chert. I don't mind in fossils. I like rock with some individuality.

I appreciate that! The only time I don’t like inclusions is when they hinder the flakes (make step fractures) other than that they definitely give it some character. Thanks for watching!

Looks like some Walton Park material. It took heat well.

From a different place but your right. same type of material as what you’d get there. Mid to High grade with inclusions.

You’re material is a lot like stuff I find n use in parts of Missouri. Would that make it just Missouri costal? I like all the crazy fossils n crystalized fossils they add uniqueness.

I am a new 71one year old napper. You really explain what you are doing so your viewers can follow your plan for you piece. Thank you. By the way I live in Panama City and wondered where to get the Coral material in the Dothan area?
@GulfCoastKnapping Жыл бұрын
Dothan is just one place to find coastal, it’s all up and through South Georgia as well. A lot of the major outcrops are on private land, but many creeks have chert in them.
