WOW, WOW, WOW! Talk about rockin' it! You guys found another little slice of headhunter heaven there at the Old Wooden Bridge site! Looks like there's anything and everything there and holy cow on the G10 Hidden Valley! Robert must be ecstatic, to be back into so much killer Mo. flint, after the tour he just served in the desert! The Mackey brothers are on fire, and all is right with the world. Congrats on a killer day, guys. This one goes in favorites for sure =^)

I've sat at the feet of Dave Waldorf and watched him work out a Danish dagger, I even bought one of his and the skill level to make these works of art took him many years to reach. I imagine there were skilled knappers who traded points for goods or food so I'm sure they got really good at it.
@MrGramps195812 жыл бұрын
all the creeks been walked maby i need to dig a rock bar. thank you for showing and good luck.
@manofreedom12 жыл бұрын
That Hidden Valley looks like a point knapped by a modern knapper using copper tools....when I hear people say the natives couldn't have made such fine points using only hammer stones and antler to knap with I just have to laugh because that point proves them to be wrong. I have seen Dalton points that were so well knapped they look like they were machine cut and I can make such points using only antler and hammer stones. Great finds so keep posting. Love your videos posts.

1st, it was great to meet you Tim at Saturday's show. Shame Robert couldn't make it. All you guys are nice as can be. It was well worth the 2 hour drive. ... I think we talked about this creek where this AWESOME Hidden Valley point was found, but I don't remember seeing it at the show? Did you sell this sweet point? You two need to revisit this site. Hope you haven't forgotten it. Now i'm off to find that sweet Apple Creek you and Richard found at the drive in. Reliving these old vids.

I hope manofreedom is not trying to imply that the Hidden Vally is a fake. That would just be offensive to Tim and I both. I was there to witness all the great finds that day. The great memories and artifacts from this hunt are 100% AUTHENTIC. I hope this is not what they are trying to insinuate. We hunt artifacts because we enjoy preserving the past and sharing with others that have the same interests...NOT for fame or notoriety. ----RubberToe----

I agree totally. The only reason I call them Searcy points because unless you are from Missouri it is hard to find much info on the Rice complex. The Rice Lanceolot isn't even listed in the Overstreet books...whats up with that?? The Searcy is just a reworked Rice Lance point. The problem is almost everyone (including myself) are all too quick to call the Rice Lance, an Agate Basin. All of use die hards know what kind of point it was and the name dont mean much...finding them does. Thx again bud
