Thank you very much for developing this super piece of software: it is worth every Euro to purchase! A question: I try to make a beer simulation (photorealistic animation) with quite a bit of foam on it. Is it possible to measure the bubbles and foam in a random size? How can I make the foam head thicker? Now I have extended its lifetime, but it is not getting thick enough. Thank you very much for an answer.
@FLIPFluids3 жыл бұрын
Actually it is not possible to have randomized white water particles sizes. But we have this on our todo list. Having a thicker foam head is not possible. But there is a very realistic foam material available on the blender market! Maybe this is exact what you are looking for?

Thanks for the clip. I assigned the shaders to my foam and spray but I can't see them at rendering. They are there in the viewport though. Any idea?
@FLIPFluids2 жыл бұрын
Sometimes they are not set visible for rendering - but if nothing helps you can send your blend via email to us
@FLIPFluids2 жыл бұрын
Maybe they are disabled for rendering. Sometimes it also required to reload a frame or particle sizes are to small. If nothing helps you can send your blendfiles with some information to us.

Same here! Any fixes?

I was wanting to make a fracture interact but noticed that if I try to make it work while around domain it doesnt sim properly. Also did you then have to choose each chunk and make it a flip obstacle? Thanks.
@FLIPFluids3 жыл бұрын
No, just the object needs to be an obstacle. And "export animated mesh" needs to be enablend in the obstacle´s settings.

Hmmm. Can you upload some easy Video with real reason to use Dust particle, some example. Foam , bubbles, spray yes i agree i see many reasons of use. But Dust? I was here last time over a 1 year ago ^_^ I hope you are in good health !

Thank you 🙏! Hope you are healthy as well. It’s nice for underwater effects. As example rocks under water in a river simulation.

I want to increase the the spray particles . How will i do it. I want lots of spray after throwing a heavy material in water
@FLIPFluids3 жыл бұрын
Depends on world size and min/max settings (advanced) for white water particles. Please take a look to our complete guide series. White water will be explained there ;)

Is whitewater available in demo version?

Yes - try it out. Let us know if you have any questions.

i just tried to do my own rigid body + fluip fluid animation , but the cubes dosen't seem to interact with the fluid
@FLIPFluids3 жыл бұрын
Make sure that you: 1. Bake the RB´s physics 2. Make the RB´s obstacles, with "export animated" enabled 3. You bake the fluids after step 1-2. If this does´t work please contact us per email.

@@FLIPFluids alright i'll try that later thanks! :D

what material do you set dust particles to render to? Dot stroke?
@FLIPFluids3 жыл бұрын
I would try the bubble-material that is included in the addon.

Is it not possible to copy the "flip fluids" physics with ctrl+c to other chunks?
@FLIPFluids3 жыл бұрын
Not yet - we will add this to our todo-list.

@@FLIPFluids thanks! It makes it tough when dealing with hundreds of fractures.

I'm having a rigid body object falling into the water and I can't get any bubbles to form. It barely wobbles the surface 🥲

Did you enable whitewater for the simulation?

Hi, does anybody know why my particles render way off from the location they appear in the viewport?
@FLIPFluids Жыл бұрын
Maybe delta transfer was used . Would you please use our support form so we can check everything?

Ah this addon is not included in Blender? No wonder I did not find it
@FLIPFluids3 жыл бұрын
That´s right! Blender has an own engine called MantaFlow. Our´s is available on the BlenderMarket. There is also a demo version for testing ;)

is there a preset material for dust particles?

you can use the same material as foam as example - or bubbles.

Actually this addon cannot simulate granular. The FLIP solver is for liquids only.

Flip fluid is nice simulator but annoying thing about it happen when you want to cancel simulation . it takes some times 30 min !
@FLIPFluids3 жыл бұрын
Yes this is because when hitting cancel the simulator runs its last task to the end. This way the last simulated frame gets not lost.
