Last March and April my mother was undergoing hospice in my house. She passed away in May. She absolutely loved coloring, and we enjoyed watching Johanna’s livestreams (usually recorded) every day. One of the last things she worked on was the free little book that Johanna released as an ebook. I’ll be forever grateful for this wonderful woman.

I know exactly how you feel. My mum and I shared the love of colouring. Without her, I feel almost guilty sometimes when I’m colouring and she’s not, but it’s kept me going, and I’m thankful that I can watch others enjoying it on here. Stay safe and we’ll. 🤗🇬🇧

@@alli_went_bonkers ...thank you, yes, you’re opinion does matter, and I found your comment very insightful. You’re right, my mum wouldn’t want me to feel bad for carrying on doing what we loved, it’s just a melancholy feeling that comes over me sometimes.

@@MoonSpinners Oh I totally understand! I lost my Dad at in my early twenties, very unexpectedly, and it took A LOT of time to adjust (Still have my moments here and there)! It’s easier to look back and offer opinions, but I never want to presume to understand what people are going through b/c I know everyone has their own battles.💜 Hang in there! Be kind to yourself! 😘🌷

What a lovely book...! I ADORE the floating Islands. So looking forward to coloring in it. Love the story that you related about how your daughter left you a note to draw the house with the balloons. When I was a wee lass my own mother would draw glamorous Paper Dolls & their clothes that I could color & cut out & play with... What a sweet memory you have given to your daughter, too...!

I just HAD to look at this book again.....my gosh, it's so beautiful Johanna. SO BEAUTIFUL! I just love looking at all of your books....I notice all of the intricate details and love that you put into each drawing. I love all ur coloring books. I have all of them and the one thing I love is how you do the big art work at the back of the book like in world of flowers and lost ocean. Could you bring that’s back I love to take them out and color Norns sides and hang them up.

Johanna, I just now (the 20th of March) watched the Worlds of Wonder flip-through. I had been avoiding it because I already have 3 of your books and I'm a slow colorist. This is just what I needed today! I've been having a little bit of a personal crisis and it warmed my heart to hear you describe the pictures. My only request is PLEASE dont make your future books double sided. In my opinion, NO COLORING books should be double sided as many of us use mediums that bleed through 😭....besides that, this is by far my fave book of yours!!! Cant wait to see what Chris Cheng doeswith this

I wish you would do a watercolor book with nothing on the back or each page or an alcohol ink book with the back of every design it was blank . We could watercolor or use alcohol inks.

Love this book so much! I love that there are semi simple pages that I can color without getting overwhelmed, and there are still busy pages that I can break down and color for as long as I like, for as long as it takes! Simply gorgeous!! I can't wait to get it!! 💜
