Just looking at that stack makes my wrist hurt. I actually stopped drawing so much due to having constant pain in my wrist, but it was required at my school because it was an art college, and I recall there was this event where different companies will have stands set up in the hallway and one that stuck out to me was one in regards to carpal tunnel and how it's super common in artist because we use our wrist and hands very often. So when I started getting wrist pain I got a bit terrified and decided to slow down how much I draw lol I'm just surprised that someone like Hayao Miyzaki, who has been doing this for years, doesn't seem to have to wear a brace on his wrist. These are also super amazing as well! Animators are amazing! Being able to bring drawings to life is such a beautiful thing and it requires so much time. Thanks for sharing this~

This puts into perpective how much work it is to get a single 1-2 minute long animation done. Just imagine how ridiculously creative you have to be to create an animation constisting of hundreds or even thousands of individual pictures from scratch and making it look good in the end.
@skysnipe47
@skysnipe47 Жыл бұрын
To be fair an animation is more about dedication than creativity. 2-3 images can convey an action in its entirety, let alone if you explain what’s happening verbally. Animation is where you just take the time to do every little detail between the earlier parts

@@skysnipe47 I mean as an animator you often have to come up with a fight choreography. That's what I meant with creativity. You basically think about how a scene is supposed to look like in your head and then you have to put it onto paper (that goes for non-fight scenes as well of course.)

I believe we are well past the age where animations are hand drawn. A real studio has tools and professionals at their disposal that makes it much more feasible. Who knows, 10 years from now, procedural animations might exist like Dolly for art now.
