Bengal is a major Agri products and FMCG Producer state. Apart from that, Bengal also leads in production of Textile products, High quality Leather and Leather based products, Cement, Iron and Steel, Gems and Jewellery, Polythene and Plastics, Industrial chemicals etc. among others. And with each passing day, producing capacity of Bengal is increasing, quite rapidly at that. Other states already had requisite infrastructure to become producers, Bengal has started to focus on infrastructure only recently. So how the other states (like MH, GJ, KA, TN etc.) have grown to become producers over the decades, Bengal too would need some time to turn into a major producer (and also an exporter). Bengal is in the right track to progress, all it needs are some good wishes and patience, and probably a little lesser naysayers and pessimists (mostly politically motivated) such as yourself.

There are heaven and hell differences between establishment of fulfillment centre and heavy scale industries. Flipkart is doing so to serve in a better ways to more pincodes to northeast. They have interests that's why it is beneficial for us. No body is blaming this development in bengal. We appreciate such move as bengali. But along with that government should provide industry friendly environment(no cutmoney, tolabaji etc) along with infrastructure, connectivity etc like Hyderabad, gujrat, Bengaluru etc to welcome the establishment of HSI.
