I feel for those that don't know of Flip. Anyone that fishes yet has never seen his double haul or him , catch , expertly play then land a 200 lb shark on bait tackle in minutes. A man that went to Alaska , salmon fishing with 2 four wt fly rods. Thanks for taking those that wanted to go back into your world Flip. Thanks to you , Lefty and Jose for all the fly casting lessons. It was quite a ride. Thank you.

Flip is an expert angler - no doubt. But he’s also an expert in using the English language. Listening to his narrations of his TV shows is a pleasure in itself.

Wow, just straight up wow. Im 30 years old and never had seen this show, only until watching Brian Fletching on his KZbin channel have i learned about Walker Cay Chronicles, this is amazing. I recently sent Mad River Outfitters and thank you letter for teaching me about Flip and now this incredible series which i have all to view new to me. I had no idea what an amazing poet Flip was. This is pure gold which I am very thankful for. Thanks Flip, I completely understand why your such a legend. I hope someday perhaps in my later years or sooner to be .001 as good as of a guide as you 🙏. Muchos gracias

Ah, memories of watching these episodes being stationed so far from home and those beautiful Florida waters. They made me homesick for those Okeechobee backwaters. And still do!

Flip, so glad I found your channel a year ago. It instantly reminded me of my childhood spent in the St. Croix River Valley and Chippewa Flowage in northwest Wisconsin. Different part of this country entirely (although still important wetlands!) but same appreciation. Thank you for your content, I share it with everyone I know.

I've never met this man but I have a wish for his future. When the day finally comes that only God will decide. I wish for Flip to wake in a place where he is able to forever cast to Tailing Fish. I want him to have the ability to close his tired eyes and to simply think of his ideal place. When upon opening them, he is magically there. Whether it be on a shallow Bonefish Flat or for a small group of Tarpon cruising towards him. Or... whatever Flip decides. I've never met this man. But he deserves nothing less. To me, he is a part of all of us and because of that, I adore him.
