I had a few variations made for my van and when we were happy with them I had a few sets made and sold a few. I'm down to my last pair now but can have more done.

Are you using the factory spare wheel spot for something else on the yellow van? why do you have the spare wheel in the wardrobe? Has anyone swapped a Subaru Diesel into a T3 yet? I think they would be a great candidate. So impressed with your restorations!

Hi, That's actually on the to do list, I had to cut the spare wheel cradle off when I was doing up the van and it's never made it back on, I've actually got another one for it now and it will be going back underneath. I thought that about the boxer diesels but that said I've never heard a good word said about those engines.

@@TheTinski07 There are some old youtube videos where the spare wheel placement is said to be part of the front crumple zone haha. The boxer diesels arent amazing engines but I've driven a few in Australia with high milage still going strong and subaru boxers look great in the vw t3 with plenty of adaptor pieces for the engine and gearbox available.

@@Ford_TImelord Probably wouldn't be any harm having a little extra. I am keen to get the weight moved away from the back for when it's loaded up. I gave serious consideration to a petrol subaru conversion when I did this one as I'm a fan of subarus in general but the ease of getting tdi's and the fuel efficiency played a big part. I am looking for the next type of conversion tho as the AHU type tdis are getting longer in the tooth now

Hi, I had them made for me but I think I will get the weld on one remade to have it bolt on instead.
