Cool video! I connected my 3V and Ground pins to 5V and ground on the other side to keep them together. Still works well with 5V. I also potted mine in epoxy today. Made a mess but at least I don't need to worry about breaking anything anymore.

Thank you, Hmata, for your tip. You're welcome to share a picture as well. One concern I have with the module is the durability of the GPIO pins. I'm worried they might twist easily over time.
@hmata3 Жыл бұрын
@@samxplogs I had the same worry. What I did, though, is add a jumper wire at pin 7, but cut the wire so only the pin is sticking into Slot #7. This way, Slot #8 (Ground) has more rigidity. Let me see if I can upload an image somewhere.

The master of the Flipper Zero, thanks for the video mate! 😍

Thank you for your kind words! While I appreciate the support, I am far from mastering English and the flipper zero 😜. My intention is to inspire fellow tinkers and learners to take action and start building their own external module.

You could join this board to an esp32 that has wifi and bluetooth and make a single one by soldering the terminals with the diagram you have, I think it would look good
@AlexAlfarii5 ай бұрын
good video and explanation, except that I would have put the antenna in front cutting the motherboard and guiding the cables in the direction you propose😀👋👍👍👍👍

Grezat! Thgx - Do you know if there is a way to connect my Bluetoots amplifier to the flipper zero to extend the BT range? I read that there were creative solutions to include a bluetoots amplifier (regularly used in audio extended BT range because it has a separate powering source) thx
@samxplogs Жыл бұрын
Thanks, Jo. I wasn't aware of any projects that enhance Flipper's Bluetooth range. However, I've seen multiple projects that utilize the ESP32, which offers both WiFi and Bluetooth functionalities with a dedicated antenna. Depending on your goal, there could be a simpler approach. Please share your thoughts. I'm keen to explore ways to extend the built-in Bluetooth range.

Good job! I'm planning on doing the same, but I just wanted to know, is the module you suggesting supporting all frequencies support the flipper ? or is it limited in frenquencies?
@samxplogs Жыл бұрын
Hello Flaster, that module is using the same chip (cc1101) hence this is handling the exact same frequencies as the flipper zero 🤗. By using this module, it won’t add a new range of frequencies but get rid of some noise and allow wider range thanks to its external sma connector.

@@samxplogs awesome. Got everything required yesterday, I'll be working on it in the next few days. Thanks for the good content btw!

Maybe you can help me, i have a cc1101 module, and i have 2 flippers and neither one will recognize it... is there something im doing wrong? Ive turned 5v on in gpio, but when i go back to subghz menu to turn it on, it just keep saying please insert external module... any help would be great thanks.
@samxplogs Жыл бұрын
Which rev of the module you are using ? Because there are at least 2 rev and wiring is not the same. Did you bought an adapter from some maker to use the 5v?
@triple9finestacker631 Жыл бұрын
@Sam's eXperiments logs ok, so i ordered the green module, wired it all myself following the diagram from git... it allows me to switch to external module, but it turns off 5v in gpio... the other cc1101 i have i bought pre-assembled, it wont even allow me to switch to external module with that one.
@vargtheoak4200 Жыл бұрын
When you choose ext module it will automatically turn on 5v so you don't need to turn on... in my case I've notice this

@Varg The oak i have another problem... i can run the jamming files just fine through the antenna, however, i cant run any other files..
@AlexAlfarii5 ай бұрын
If you didn't apply a voltage reducer and put 5v in, I think you screwed up the antenna. That's why I didn't recognize it, it overheated.

I have the mayhem board with cc1101 and nrf24. should just be plug and play but I cant figure out where to plug it, and the seller wasnt much help (i guess he tried but didnt know either)

Hello Vanessa, do you have to solder the cc1101 and the nrf24 on the board? Also do you have a link to the current board you have?

Hi, can you give me a link to purchase the long antenna?

The one from the HackRF+ PortaPack which I plan to test with the one below. s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_DCoY7tT s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_DCfyyGV The one used in the video which was able to achieve a distance of 100m outdoors with a clear view. s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_DkbWLkZ Additionally, I bought the Midland SRH-536, but I need to conduct further testing before I can provide feedback on it.

heya! would you mind helping me out with troubleshooting my nrf24 board? it seems to get reckognized by in the freq analyzer i seem to be getting a constant frequency that wont disappear. im not sure what to do. do you have a discord or other social media to chat on?
@samxplogs Жыл бұрын
Sure I would be happy if we figure out together. Bring a picture of that capture or even the sub discord.gg/HhSfm6tw But be aware in some circumstances it might be noise from the circuit. 🙏
