Idea: Stalk players as the creepiest monster you can muster up, what players don’t know is that your monster has a clipboard where the monster is rating players scare level and observational skills for unknown reasons, the monster is completely harmless but the players won’t know that.

My friend’s dad and his brothers were farmers and they shot their older brother with a shotgun with birdshot to see how many layers of clothes it takes to stop it. They ended up having to do some improvised medical on him digging the pellets out. Kinda unrelated to your idea, but that’s the first thing that I was reminded of when you said shotgun farmers.
