I saw another video that said not to paint cane on both sides because it needs to breathe or it becomes brittle. Do you have any follow up info on painted cane? Beautiful job, by the way!

I just picked up four similar mid century, modern rattan, back chairs, and a dining table and love your idea! I think I will try that for the chairs and paint the table the same color as the chair backing.🎉
