I'm glad you took this detour 🥰 For waterproof inks DeAtramentis Document inks, Octopus Fluids Write and Draw inks, or Rohrer and Klingner Sketch Inks are ones I would recommend!

Fabulous video, Danielle 💜💚I really appreciate the time it took for you to do this - made me tired listening to all the ink names! As always, there was a heap of favourites from my collection & some to add to my wish list (I have slowed down somewhat, as I ran out of room.) Wearingeul are my main addiction, they are one of the most expensive here & yet I cannot quit them 🤣 I have lived without BPC for so long now so .. ehh .. my other problem is Vinta but at least they cost less than WE 😁 Diamine, Robert Oster & Van Dieman's can be acquired for much less ^whew^.

oh my. i have added so many inks to my wishlist. deAtramentis inks overall are being added to my list. Colorverse andromeda for sure as well as tacit benitsuchi. Monteverde iced cookie and BPC king fisher are teal ink dreams come true. Monteverde actually is another brand generally going on my wish list as well. love this archive run through!

Question: how did you make the BPC Chinchilla??? I have been waiting for it to come into stock, but it has been ages at this point. Would love to know the formula that you used.

I watched this three times and took notes of the ones I've been curious to try. Lol I've been loving winter spice by diamine, but you've got me curious about interstellar bronze! How does it compare in terms of the base color? Is extra dimensional umber comparable to either of them? Looks like the only one it'll be Impossible to get a sample of unless I find someone who has it, so I'm saving up for my next Penablers order! 🤣🤣🤣 Thanks for the new list of ink goals! Lol

I LOVE interstellar bronze! It is much more yellow/olive toned in the base than Winter Spice. Extra dimensional umber is a rich medium brown, I think it is easiest to compare to the color of Diamine Pick Me Up or Ferris Wheel Press Writing Desk! I love all the browns haha

I’ve watched like 38 min into this & I’m so so so grateful for you making this video! It’s so nice to see & I love it! 😻 (Although it might not be so good for my wallet since I’m seeing a lot of more inks i’d like to try hehe 😅). Can’t wait to watch the whole thing! I’m having some questions: 1. May I ask how long you’ve been collecting all these inks? (both bottles & samples) 2. How do you do if you run out of an ink sample before you’ve been able to swatch it/if you’ve started a new swatching system & didn’t manage to swatch an ink there, but have it in a previous swatching system? (if that’s happened of course 😅) 3. Have you changed the swatching system to having them in these Kokuyo binders instead of having them in the Hobonichi notebook(s)? 4. I really need to check the website where I’ve ordered samples before & see which ones of these are available there & then try to decide which ones to order this time around. Although I’d really need to buy some kind of storage thing for samples then since the solution I’m having now isn’t optimal at all 😝 I’m sad that more places doesn’t offer samples though! It’s such a good thing to offer, right? PS: I may write to you on instagram too with follow up questions, is that okay?

So many great questions!! 1. I've been collecting for at least 3 years, but I think it has been longer than that. 2. If I run out of a sample before I swatch it, I don't sweat it. :) If I enjoyed the sample, sometimes I will get a second one, if I didn't like it, well then its used up! 3. I still use the Hobonichi notebooks/TRP books for my ink journals, this Kokuyo binder system is just for a fun archive :) 4. I LOVE samples. I find that so many inks are out there that i want to try them all, and my wallet DEFINITELY can't handle buying all the bottles haha. I'd be happy to chat on instagram, but if I miss your message you can send me an email!

Have you tried any of the Lennon Tool Bar Atmospheric line…they are pigmented inks. Very interested in them. I need my ink to stay put if it gets wet. 😂

I’ve been living a lie! When I purchased J Herbin Vert d gris i was under the assumption that it’s a green grey. I’d never even read the description of the ink when I bought it. I thought it looked green-ish grey-ish & I just went with that. 🤯

Inks surprise me sometimes too! Especially on different papers the inks can be different colors.

Awesome idea!! Is there a video with you swatching in this book? What paper are you using to fill the the Campus notebook? I see lined paper but the swatching doesn’t look lined. I would love to does this for my samples.

Timestamp the color breaks as this is a very long video/ could have been per color videos. I don’t like you reading what I can see on the screen. I would rather you comment on each, like what you do on the shimmer and sheens. There really is a lot you’re giving us to review. A good problem. I stopped on the greens to pace myself.

@@mydandeliondiaries I like that you had all your inks together because it enables the viewer to notice how certain inks can be classified in one or more categories, but Time Stamps would be convenient when referencing your video, which will be often. Definitely a keeper! THANK YOU!
