How Far can 50M get a Brand New Account in Only 24 Hours? [OSRS]

When most players make a new account, they normally start with 0 cash and slowly work their way to the mid game. But what if you started your account with a sizable amount of money instead?
Today I am going to be taking a brand new level 3 account, and attempting to power level it as quickly as possible. I'm going to give it 50m and I want to see how far I can make it in just 24 hours. The goal is to get the highest total level account in 24 hours. We are going to do a combination of expensive training methods and quests. I am definitely not an efficient player, but lets see how far we can make it.

Basically, Dwarf Cannon accuracy is complicated, but if you're holding a melee weapon, it'll use the attack bonus for the style you have selected (stab, slash, crush), and if you're holding a ranged weapon, it'll use your ranged attack bonus. So, you generally want to hold high attack bonus, slow weapons (like a 2h, ballista, etc) if you're cannoning and not planning to attack *with* your Cannon. Edit: Also, the Cannon stalls whenever you're in an interface, which is why you can't 1t enchant bolts while cannoning.

I've said this before, but I think you are one of the silent power houses of the OSRS youtube community. Your videos never reach extremely high viewer count, but I think you are enjoyable and so goddamn consistent. Uploading multiple videos per week that reach multiple 10s of thousand of views. another good spot ive found for cannoning is chaos druids, in wildy but if low lvl doubt youll get attacked, just prayer pots and keep mage up, also easy tele to and from + can make profit or alot of the money back if you get the elder robe drops

The bonds fuck up the challenge because they are applied to realtime and not ingame time. Meaning that if you no life then your bond cost are way lower than if you play “just” a hour a day.

I just save the 15 dollars a month, lmao, and buy bonds because once every few months I get a massive drop. If I spend the irl money there's more pathological events involved where when Im not playing I feel as if I'm wasting my money. With bonds I could care more but there isn't that miniscule voice in the back of my head nagging me when I don't hop on for a few days or a week

You could also do some flipping in between training etc. Could increase your cash stack passively as you progress. Every little bit helps! Wintertodt is also a decent starter kit for new accounts imo. But of course your point this video was what you can do with a starting cash stack. :)

Just for anyone wondering and for someone that doesnt want to get dragons early on in the slayer grind, you only need DS1 to equip Green Dhide, its not required for blue,red,black, so if you want to do slayer wildy with no lava dragons as its a pain in the ass, dont do it, get ur ranged above green dhide and you're all set. Enjoyed the vid tho as im on fresh account myself.

Just a thought but would you ever consider doing a “PVP world locked Bronze Man to 1B GP”? Where you need to unlock things before it’s even possible to flip them, but to prevent bank man mode- your total level must be greater than your gold stack divided by 900k

I cant help but think throughout this, (and this is where i come in with a tad of critique) that you couldve been a bit more tactical with your money. Perhaps blowing mils on crafting isnt so much the thing to do, when it is possible to do it quickly, almost for free (sapphires or jewellery, last i checked).. but maybe instead getting some combat/quest unlocks like the dscim or void or high enough ranged to do bossing or whatever, is just something i'm thinking is actually more useful for a new account. Also as a note im sure you thought about already - cannoning slayer to 65 ranged, instead of chinning, probably wouldve been a better use of time and money. Maybe doing quests like lunar diplomacy, fremmenik trials, client of kourend, maybe arc/shay favour, priest in peril/ghosts ahoy etc. for area/tp unlocks, or doing more con for teles/pool, maybe aiming specifically for the quest cape req or diaries in the total level distribution. Maybe getting a couple easy boss kills or doing revs for an actual moneymaker.. Anyways. it was a great video to watch! I enjoyed it a lot. Just lacking a tiny bit of prospective in my opinion ;) Otherwise i think it was great

Purpose of the video wasn’t to make money or to be able to make money. Bosses would be pointless. It was to see how many levels can be bought for 50m GP when starting from scratch. He wasn’t seeing what 50m can get you level wise to set you up to make money later. Merely entertainment sake to see what 50m and 24 hours can get you. It’s not a guide to what to spend on if you want to make money back later. It’s the opposite as it’s not a good way to use 50m if you want to make money back later.

It’s the normal stats bar/canvas in RuneLite. He’s just held the Alt key and moved it like you can most plugins displayed. Like XP orbs at top, you can move them to different parts of the screen. He’s just moved from top left to there.

theoretically the godsword is the best thing to use for cannon accuracy. Atleast that was the case a few years ago.

@@marce4241o, it bases it on range bonus (not ranged strength) if you wield a range weapon, and attack bonus if you wield a melee weapon. Further, it also takes the melee attack bonus of your currently selected style (stab, slash, crush). If you use a powered staff (trident, sang), it bases on the highest out of melee/range. A non-powered staff is considered a melee weapon. Range/Attack levels, potions and prayers also benefit cannon accuracy. Hope that clears it up.

basically for new character. Because osrs mil is like 0.2€/$, buy 50-100m with your money to get things rolling from beginning and keep your "grind" for lvls 80-99.
