For what it's worth, the ring drop was perfectly fine in my opinion. Generally if you're rebuilding your account, you're not starting at 0 progress, just 0 money. Seems legit to me

I feel like another way he could've done it was to take 1/3rd of the gold for the rebuild, since he absolutely got at least 1 of the vestige rolls during it, and drop the rest to an alt. That being said though, for all we know he could've legitimately got the omega-spoon during the rebuild; he did have a couple dry streaks, and those could've been vestige rolls. Not like it actually matters or not-a drop is a drop, so I'd call it valid either way.

Magic is my only level 99 combat skill, and might actually mean this would be a good boss for me to fight to earn some gp so I can actually start investing gp instead of time into various skills. Battlestaves themselves would be great for turning into crafting profit, only have to buy the air orbs. Or for more profit just buy water orbs from people still doing muspah.

Honestly i think it would of been more effective to buy yourself pure essences and make your trident's runes youreself. Would of also allowed you to start of with a little better gear, food and pots.

"Whyd you use all the money from ring?!" Personally I would of preferred him using only 1/3 of the cash, but this is a "hacked" rebuild vid not an on droprat vid. The ring being primed to drop from pre "hacked" kills is something he cant really know and is what would happen with an actual account that got hacked. "Why didn't you start at barrows?" Cause every other video he picked one boss and did that the whole time. Range was all muspah and melee was all calvar'ion. Like its so silly, he's maxed why would he bother doing the efficient route with these fun rebuild videos when he could just go do Corrupted gauntlet for pure profit. Good video, though I was wondering why you didn’t alchemist the javelin tips early on for more gold. Would’ve lessened the chances of running out of runes. Also, in the future if you have another situation like the ring, I think it would be fair to only use 1/3 of the coins, your “share” from the video, for upgrades. Obviously turn the rest into plat for after the video, you earned that.

imo the way to handle the DT2 rings for rebuilds is to drop 2/3 of the gold to your main since you know for sure you got at least 1 of the 3 rolls in the rebuild

This is just minor advise in case anyone is doing something like this again and wants the best no gp gear. Lunar helm, mine lunar ore and smelt God cape, no explanation needed Unholy symbol, mine silver craft Radas blessing +2 or 1 prayer Ghostly robe, talk to the npc outside Ardounge with a ring of visibility and ghost speak amulet. The npc will give you Full ghost robes for free Book of darkness, free at lighthouse Ghost legs Ghost gloves Ghost boots Beacon ring, free from Zaff The best free weapon slot is a Dramen staff, made from a Dramen branch (All this was researched with 0gp and not counting any form of minigame points, minus extremely basic tools like pickaxe, ball of wools, knife, etc)

for what its worth i really enjoy your content.. but this is flawed.. if you only had 100k then you wiped, you have no more cash aside from that 7k.. like previously mentioned barrows for runes and starting cash for more attempts would have been a better approach. if you are at DT2 level and know mechanics well enough you could just do gauntlet using mage only.. similar concept its a fun idea but fundamentally flawed given the wipes early on and does not give an accurate representation of a rebuild situation.

you could have saved alot of money at the start by buying pure essence and crafting your own runes instead of buying the runes directly. you can buy pure essence for 1gp which means you could have gotten thousands of runes out of the same investment but you wouldnt have ran out of charges

Point blank, I think 2M for the MA2 cloak was entirely the wrong way to do it. Cabbage robes are 5k for cheap wildy armor, and runes to slap down a MA2 boss is way less than 2M. What you should've done is just reacquired it the honest way (or buy it from Perdu, I guess), like a real rebuilder would've done. I get just wanting to stay at Whisperer, but that's not realistic to a real rebuild challenge.

I also would've gone Cabbage as the first upgrade from Monks as soon as prayer pots fit in the income range. Would've made the early bits a lot faster, I suspect.
