Back in the day (when EoC weren't a thing and the main game was RS2) one of my friends got himself a Rotten potato by luring JMod to Stealing creation to showcase a made up bug and managed to steal the item from his inventory. He had it for few minutes before he destroyed it and few minutes later got banned for it. It didn't really matter 'cause the account was made purely for bug abusing and he was part of a group called "Hax unit" whom, like the name suggests, searched possible bugs from the game code and exploited 'em for KZbin videos. They still might have their videos up, I haven't checked 'em for over a decade.

57k people have 1kc at zuk, only about 12k of those 57k have 2kc, of those only a couple hundred have more than 2kc, inferno cape itself isnt rare anymore cause sellers got them for anyone who wanted it, but the amount of people that can comfortbly and consistently do the inferno is so so much smaller than people realize

i know you primarily cover osrs.. but there are some interesting things that are very rare for rs3. For example I am one of the 32 holders of the title The Gamebreaker.. Each person that got the title put in an incredible amount of effort for beta testing and giving feedback and finding bugs. The a handful of jmods got together and selected each person and they all voted on who would get the title based on said effort. Most of the people i am friends with from that era of the game have the title as we all worked together and sometimes fought over ideas and improvements.. said names are "Mr G W, Colifin, Evil lucario, Chi pa pa" Good friends from that time.

We tried very hard to get it delayed because it wasn't ready at all.. and it took easily 5+ years to get a lot of the issues fixed that the majority of us had mentioned. I gave up in 2016 and primarily play osrs since then. but never the less its still a fun weird little thing that i find cool.

Untrimmed slayer cape is more of a grind, any rich player with an alt can get untrimmed con cape if they want, untrimmed slayer not only takes much longer but you need to avoid getting 99 in any other combats on the way

Besides, knowing that all it takes to get untrimmed construction is a few days and a few hundred mil, I'd be very surprised if there are actually less untrimmed con capes than slayer -- there must be a noteworthy story behind it if that's true. It would make for good content pointing out that, despite being a much harder, longer grind, the construction cape is more rare item in-game that can still be obtained today. I think it's worth mentioning along-side slayer at the very least, and straight up ignoring it and stating that the slayer cape is MORE rare would be a blatant lie -- see 3:36.

Untrimmed slayers "difficulty" is a bit overstated. Its more or less use a cannon for any task you can, and do mage methods (which is now a massive part of slayer anyway). For instance on my main, even back in 2015/16, i hit 99 slayer with 98/98/98 melees, 97 range, 98 HP and 91 magic (burst/barrage tasks didn't exist outside of Smoke Devils). So I got an "untrim" slayer without even trying for it, and having no option for barraging half my tasks. The only reason I didn't is because I played the game outside of slayer, so I already had 99 farm, cook, fletch. Similar on my group iron i'm at 95 slayer and have done a ton of bossing and such outside of it, and not cared about pushing magic on all tasks to speed up slay, and it matches my melees and range is 4 levels below it even with raids/CG/shamans/demonics i've done. Its easier than most make it out to be

I got 9 pairs of ranger boots over 255 medium clues thats the rarest thing ever happen to me. Not 1 pet or 3rd age item in 5+ yrs on same account. Rare drops at bosses were about on par of the drop rate never 1k dry like other people.

i have noticed that nobody has mentioned the grim reaper hood?..... i haven't played runescape in about 18 years but i will say that there was an old Halloween event where the reward was a grim reaper hood that completely hid the players face. i just searched up videos for it on youtube, and all uploads are between 13-18 years old.. i think it may just be one of the rarest items on runescape.

Yeah I'm pretty confused by that, both why it would be lower, and if so, why he wouldn't have even mentioned it in the video. 3:36 he straight up says slayer is more rare. If there really are less con, it's only because almost nobody thinks a con cape is cool, and few would waste hundreds of mils on 99 con before they completed any other 99's. It's not really an achievement to brag about, kinda just feels pointless. Maybe that's the only reason there are less...?.?

That's a bit harder to do then you think, you need 23 alts all at skill level 750+, and a virtual machine to be able to play all the alts. Most players with 1k wins are half decent at the game and just grinded it out even though its a bit slower

Armo, rank #1 in expert modes, has a combined total of 1615 completions at the time im making this comment. No one else in the game is really even close. The next closest being Trio Elysian with 1294 combined ToA completions. Obviously im a day late to the vid and you probably put it together even earlier. 3:36 - Ummm, am I confused, or what? Your own video data there shows that there are less untrimmed construction capes than there are slayer? Idk why that would be, as construction is a quick, buy-able skill, and slayer is the exact opposite and no easy achievement. But that's what your picture of all the stats shows. Did I miss something? 3:55 you even have them side by side and drew on the picture, but no mention of the 207 untrimmed construction capes??

from what I can guess it's for 2 reasons: 1) construction is a buyable skill. you can easily get the untrimmed cape on an alt. untrimmed slayer requires some planning on any account. 2) Look at the ratios for untrimmed:trimmed. Untrimmed slayer is wayyy less in that regard.

lms cape estimation is wrong :P there are probably slightly under 500 capes ingame - i personally know a few people with under 15k lms score 1k wins capes and i got 1,5k wins on my main and like 250 on alt. you of course have to take into account bots and goldfarmers who definitely don't have 1k wins but they do have insanely high scores (even in the high 15k) but i doubt there are many bots above 20k score, probably none at this point
